look at Draft Kings its at an all time high with multiple divergences of different oscillators on the 4 hour but the MFI is below 20? MFI is near 0 on multiple timeframes in a strong uptrend

This is a valuable tool. The presentations are discrete and wonderful as well. I swing long and this will be helpful for entry and exit. The divergences take practice to identify correlation for me. Anyway any presentations to assist a swing trader is much appreciated friend.

Hey guys, you want to know the actual tide of a trend? Mfi- Use the period of the trend and NOT some arbitrary time period. Ps. Above 50 is accumulation and below50 is distribution. Its not a stochastic I wouldn’t use it for divergence. For me, mfi confirms the actual tide/sentiment. 9:35 “Trading it itself its not reliable in the long run, a longer time frame in needed”. Yeah, how about the period that includes the previous H L or L H points! Great and reliable for confirmation. Following a retrace that holds @ 50 or above is very reliable, specially in lower volatility @ same time period. TRADE THE CONTRARY TREND AT YOUR OWN RISK.

If I understand correctly, MFI, RSI, etc are calculated using close values. Question; you use WIGS to determine divergences. If valid, often there indeed are divergences. If not valid, there are no divergences. I'm hoping to find a general direction about this. Example at 05:30 in your MFI video.
So I was looking at the code on this specific indicator and noticed that it uses a calculation divided by three holc3. Which is really just an average bar count and not volume itself. So i recoded the indicator to use volume.

Timeframe depends on your trading style. I'm a swing trader and I prefer higher timeframes.

Tried this with RSI on a demo on MT4. I had many repainting problems. Will test it in Tradingview, but definitely it has good potential.

I use RSI and use 6 length and 20/80 and look for divergence. Pretty dependable especially if you wait for a third divergence
