18:44 just like other people, it’s that distant car sound I love, especially at dusk or at night. Something about the perspective of someone experiencing their life whilst it just being a ‘background’ in your life.
When I first noticed this sound I was still very early in the GTAV storyline, when Franklin was doing missions for Simeon. I thought that sound was a hint that there was some super car nearby that Simeon wanted me to steal for him. Never could find it though. 😄
GTA 5 is a vibe itself. I can not explain that feeling when I'm drivin' around , or walking on foot, hearing npc-s talking about different things. However, after I turn off the game (I usually play it in summer) It becomes hard for me to get back to the real world. GTA has given me some good memories.
Best thing about GTA V is the fact that there is an extremely good story (if you didnt skip through it like a fool) and a very good soundtrack (background sounds etc, radios are kinda trashy) and also that it's a game with a lot of mysteries and has a big map, I am REALLY excited for GTA 6.
I really really hope that what we've heard so far isn't true but its just looking more and more true. The cheap bonnie and clyde story (as if we haven't seen that countless times already in movies and games even) and the new woke approach. The original team that gave us these amazing stories and memories has already left Rockstar so I'm not hyped at all. Atleast if I'm not excited I can't be dissapointed
I always thought the car noises were something more sinister like a representation of the "sky trumpets" heard through out the world or something because it really sounds like them at first lol 📯
You can find the sounds of the different cars in the game files, they've used the carb, feltzer, cheeta, banchee, vacca, comet and the f620. at 2:07 its a carbonizare
I was constantly followed by Michael when I played as Franklin so I'd hide in the desert. I loved being out there away from the chaos of the city. It's so calm.
My childhood friends and I used to have sleepovers while having the ambient GTA III sounds playing from the TV. I loved it back then, and now I love the atmosphere of GTA IV. Calming despite the nature of the game itself. Lol.
what made me go back to playing GTA was the ambient sound effects. Always when night falls I go to the desert and I walk around abandoned buildings and farms and it is SO amazing

Idk why this makes me miss rdr2 while I have both in my PC.
The wolfs howling brings me so many memories!
That car noise is from the city it sounds different when your out in the country it's more quite
That has to be some loud car as to hear it from that far away
2:07 sounds like a benefactor feltzer
howling wolf sound is the best ! It's like a music I loved it
I can’t seem to find it
2:07 gets me a different feeling
Is it weird that I play GTA for the ambiance?
Same dude. Video games wouldn’t be as good if it wasn’t for the sound design.
