@Snarled12YT no, if you are able to do t spin doubles in first few seconds of setting up, that level is beyond 5000, should be around 7500-9000. At 5000-5500, I'm able to win and lose most games when paired same level opponents. But every so often there are a few who you know are smurfing their accounts like many online games.
This actually sounds really nice to play on the drums. The music isn't that fast tempo-wise or complicated lead-wise. It just gives you the opportunity to go ham, but you have to remember to stay calm because it isn't one that's just brain energy style. Much like how you need to play Tetris battles: stay calm, look ahead, and if you can, hit 'em with your skill.
True, but trust me: it’s weirder to hear it with piece movement sounds that aren’t inputted by you. I’d prefer a neutral, music only version like this, personally.

Mizuguchi and Hydelic are a match made in synthesia heaven. I'll understand if Mizuguchi wants to hire a different sound for his next game but between Rez Infinite's Area X and ALL of Tetris Effect, Hydelic delivers on every track! Seriously, a PvP song in Tetris of all things shouldn't sound so good but it does!
Instead of just changing the music and the gaps between garbage lines, what if the phases had different backgrounds and speeds too? I could definetly imagine hitting the third phase and having the game become much faster with a scrolling background as though the players were flying through space aswell. Either way, this is a great OST.
I might be wrong, but judging the way the notes progress here, the visuals (especially when your zone line clears shows fish, birds, manta rays and dolphins), I think this maybe an instrumental remix of "Always Been but Never Dreamed" and because of that, I sometimes find myself singing out its lyrics over this track but I might still be wrong with this

This mode is intense. Go from going head to head with one player, to getting slaughtered in less than 30 seconds lmao.

Hey! I went into Zone Battle mode with a CPU with the SFX all the way down to 0%, then stalled as much as possible so I could record the soundtrack
