Sad thing is that real situations do happen like this on a daily bases. One minute, someone tries to open up about something, and the next they are interrupted. 😕 😢
Can Scarlett come back I know she will comfort him and fix things that is his mum and moms are known to be savage when it comes to protecting their kids
It's harder to open up to a parent about something like that then it is to a friend. As you said, mums and dads can be brutally savage when it comes to protecting their kids, which is why kids find it so hard to tell them the truth because they want to protect them from the knowledge that their parents couldn't protect them this time. IT's a vicious cycle.
Dylan Jones It’s not funny.......and Mandy didnt know he was going to say anything that bad,why would they even lock the door? Common sense, hollyoaks is for adults..
This storyline is really hard hitting and well performed; however I really hope it comes to its conclusion soon as it is really hard to watch. My only hope is Brody realises what is going on or overhears Brook discussing what she saw as this to me seems like the only way for it to conclude. Also I hope Aedan Duckworth (who plays Ollie) gets many awards for this storyline because his acting is amazing and by far one of the best soap actors there has ever been and it would also show this storyline is being recognised for it effects and the silence and pain this sort of crime brings with it.
Hope Scarlett comes back and takes Ollie away as Luke clearly doesn't give a damn about his own son. He cares more about his slut wife and the alcohol than he does with Ollie and every time he acts like a drunken idiot, he indirectly protects Buster just when Ollie is about to tell what's happening.
Luke wasn't raped by his football coach. He was raped by his team mates. And Ollie did find out, but Luke told him it was all made up, despite it being the truth. When you're / you've been sexually abused, you keep it to yourself for many reasons. Shame, humiliation, and it's especially harder for men to come out and say it because it's something the world looks down upon unless you are literally a child. Buster has been doing this for decades by the looks of it. There are probably more victims of his out there, including Brody. It will just take ALL of them for Ollie to realise he's not alone in all of this.
Sophia, this isn't just a cliffhanger. This is what happens in real life. Often Hollyoaks will talk to other survivors who have been through this. And like L. Nonjia said, it is quite hard to open up.
This the exact thing I don't like about soap operas, that boy is tormented right in front of her and she isn't going in about finding out about whats going on with him. Just because someone comes in you don't stop talking especially if its the person's family you get them into the conversation too. On soap operas they are good at only letting the people they want to hear a conversation hear it; you could be planning to kill someone two feet away from them and conveniently they don't hear it but the person right beside them does hear it, lol. I remember when Diane and Tony were at some gathering and talking about whether to turn in Harry for killing Amy and they were talking normally and everyone around them was reacting to the show they all were attending, I was like what??!! I think drawing out a situation is second to not seeing what is clearly right in front of your face on soap operas is what irks me the most.
That poor kid. If only Luke would just wake up and get his head out of his ass he would see what is going on. After all, he went through the same thing. He knows the signs and feelings. Ollie has tried so hard to confide in both of his parents, but something always seems to happen to stop it. It's not right. He's going through this really bad thing in his life, this thing that could destroy him, and his father can't even stop his pity party for a few moments to help him. I mean I feel for Luke with what happened to him when he was younger. But he's being kind of selfish now. Making it all about himself and what he has been through. He's trapped so far in the past that he can't see that his son's life is falling apart and that he really needs him. He's going to lose his son because he can't care enough now to even try.
*In my opinion* I really do feel sorry for Ollie, but why when something goes wrong in his life, or has a fall out with his Dad (Luke) Ollie always goes back to the changing rooms (Which always happens to be Buster there) I don't really understand why Ollie always goes back to Buster when he knows something will happen? Could Ollie be gay? Or does he just like what Buster is doing to him? Pretty dumb move to be going back to the person who 'Rapes' you all the time when something goes wrong in your life. Really don't understand this storyline but I do hope it ends soon and won't carry on forever. Like I said this *Is my opinion* 😟
Are you actually serious right now? I don't think you understand what rape can do to a person. It seriously mind screws them. Ollie's type of rape isn't just a stranger, it's someone who is known and trusted amongst the community. It is repetitive and mentally abusive as well, so every time Ollie gets upset with Buster, he's punished (Barcelona trip, washing the uniforms etc) and when Ollie gets close to pulling away, he's rewarded and pulled back in, (ie. made captain of the team). It's how predators like Buster work. You've only got to look at the hold Buster still has on Brody - probably after ten years or so, and Brody is still under his control, despite being VERY capable of protecting himself.
He hasn't been raped. He's been molested and manipulated. Just as bad tbh. He's confused and trapped. His home life sucks but his abuser, as much as he's hurt him has also been there for him and made him feel special and like he belongs. That's hard to give up even when the person who has done that for you begins to hurt you.
Ollie has some facial expressions that remind me of Luke... Good casting.
samanthapetrelli yhhhh I noticed that aswell
I love Ollie’s facial expressions😆😆
The young man who plays Ollie is the perfect person to person to play Luke's son. They look so much alike. I hope Ollie opens up soon. Brody too.
2:11 lukes like yeah sounds about right with everything
Don't u hate it when someone walks in room at wrong time when u bout open up
Christina Babycakes Yes a million percent 😂
All the time😒😒
Christina Babycakes ikr
Christina Babycakes Trust me you're not alone in that.
I wish he tells Mandy. Wish Ollie tells someone about this.
Anisa Bibi x yeah the coach cannot get away with this !!
Chloe Mills think he will finally get caught out 🙌🙌🙌
Eventually he will
Anisa Bibi x
Too late.He had sex with him.
I love Devan Ken What? Buster didn't have sex with Oliver! 🙄
What Ollie said in the end were facts but I still feel sorry for Luke because Mandy's cheating triggered him to start to drinking again. Poor Ollie.
Sad thing is that real situations do happen like this on a daily bases. One minute, someone tries to open up about something, and the next they are interrupted. 😕 😢

He was actually gonna tell her and now Luke had to interrupt damn it Luke but he will tell someone soon I hope.
Poor Oille 😟😟😟
Think Mandy can tell somethings up!!! It’s so heartbreaking
Luke had to ruin it didn’t he!
Demi Brown Yep he so did and they should put a lock on the door so no one interrupts LOL.
Don't think he ruined it but I think he should had told his father not Mandy
To be fair. Luke didn't know that Ollie was going to open up to Mandy .
Ciara Harper Ollie doesn't always know when Luke sober or drunk though .
Dylan Jones It’s not funny.......and Mandy didnt know he was going to say anything that bad,why would they even lock the door? Common sense, hollyoaks is for adults..
Omg his face looked so pissed at 1:15

Ellie Horseman it can be a bit hard to open up about as you may be scared on what will happen

Once again SO CLOSE AND YET SO FAR!!!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Come on Oliver you need to tell them and Brooke about why you really quit the team.

Why doesn’t Ollie just act normal
#TP GamerBoy33 because he has been raped. It can be a hard thing to actually get through and know it is happened
