As a H-D rider i will greet you no matter what bike you ride even a scooter, to me anyone that rides on two wheels is a brother or sister of the road, we all share the same common goal of the open expanse of freedom having the wind blow across our bodies, you are more in-tuned with what mother nature has to offer than sitting inside a glass steel box. Have enjoyed watching S1 & S2 & now S3 of your trip around Aussie, hopefully I will be able to do the same, all the best from CHCH NZ🇳🇿and keep it twisted 🏍
@@gavingrantham136 Hi Gavin 🤗 Thanks so much for your comment. We have just bought new Tigers to ride out here in the Pilbara, so we are all fired up to do some more filming. We’ll be based in Wanaka from 2027, so watch out for us waving 😎🏍️🏍️🎁 Cheers, Nic & Steve
Hi Nic and Steve, I could toss around a few superlatives but there’s no need. It’s simply been fantastic. You’ve documented a dream that you both have made a reality and I’d like to sincerely Thank You for sharing it with us 👏. I’m interested in watching your debrief of the journey. My lovely wife and I recently did a 6 week (return) motorcycle trip to FNQ. It cost a bomb…but we didn’t skimp on accommodation…you only live once. Well…we’ll be waiting with bated breath for the next adventure to begin. The Triumph looked very nice 👍. Cheers 🍻.
Well done Nic and Steve. Firstly that you are both back safe and well, and no major offs. Secondly, such an amazing trip and it was wonderful you both sharing it, an inspiration. Thirdly, just a wonderful couple.
Thanks Johannes…it was amazing and worth all the effort to record and share. The lovely feedback we get is an unanticipated bonus so thanks a lot for your comments 🥰 We are hooked now so planning the next adventure already. Patience is our next challenge! 👍🍻
Well, only one thing say,👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Throughly enjoyed watching you two. Can’t wait till the the next one.
A most enjoyable adventure. Thanks for the hard work that goes in to producing it. Brilliant effort to do so many days in all conditions with no real incidents and no Police intervention from memory :). Glad you made it safely to your beautiful home. Seems Ellie & Cooper have been booted fairly quickly :) so looking forward to watching the next Triumph adventure. Cheers and Congrats.
Thanks so much Geoff. We really appreciate your comments and so glad you’ve enjoyed watching along. It’s good inspiration to keep sharing our Triumph adventures. We were sad to say goodbye to our lovely Vstroms but the new bikes are fantastic! Cheers 🍻👍
It’s been wonderful to travel along with you on your trip and also to see you both home safe and sound. WOW aren’t your punga a nice remember of home 🇳🇿! My Zac is loving living in NZ and don’t see him heading home anytime soon. I’m learning and loving my single life … you’ve both given me a wonderful gift … Cherie
Thanks Cherie….yes, it’s been a grand adventure. Glad you enjoyed following along, and to hear you are happy and Zac is embracing NZ life. Here’s to living your best life! 👍❤️ All the best, Nic & Steve
Thanks for sharing your authentic selves doing what we also love - riding together. Hubby and I had many laughs along the way - so many similarities. Look forward to your travels on the Trumpy.
Thank you dearest Uncle 😊 So glad I recorded our big adventure and even gladder to have you along for the ride ❤️ Here’s to turning shit into fertilizer!! 💜💝
I've stayed in Walcha and Armidale loads of times on bike trips, but not Uralla. Next time maybe! Yeah, it was great being on the New England Highway after the Newell. Riding through Guyra at 6.30 at night, all we wanted was hot mashed potato! 🤣 After Glen Innes we headed east on the Gwydir down the Gibraltar Range to Grafton which is always an awesome ride. Last time Sharon and I were in Wallangarra, the border was still closed so we turned around there. What an awesome adventure you had! Now that I've watched the end of your trip I'll have to go back to the start! My bike hasn't moved since I rolled into my garage 3 weeks ago. Still covered in bugs and road grime! I might have to park it out in the rain today for a wash! 😂🤣
Nice that you guys are home bit of a tear in our eyes if I'm honest but loved every minute of it looking forward to seeing your next adventure maybe on a tiger ...named Tigger ...🤣
Oooh, interesting ending, Triumphant one might say. Congratulations on achieving the Big Lap. All those memories recorded and stored for future viewing. Sad for us viewers to see it finish as we’ve enjoyed seeing the sights , different places, the little difficulties and the way to do it all. Fortunately there is always another adventure out there and looking forward to see what you two get up to. Thanks Nicci and Steve.
@@nowwatt Thank You. Interested to know about planning and strategy that goes into accommodation and bike maintenance (daily, weekly, scheduled etc.) Did you have tyres, chains, sprockets etc. replaced. Did you order ahead or were you able to buy as and when you needed etc. Can you buy fuel easily enough?
Bloody awesome! Well done, great trip and thanks for taking us all with you. Have a little rest and go again. (You could visit me in Canberra ACT). Great job.
Hi guys I have really enjoyed watching your journey around this beautiful and vast country. It has been an inspiration I am retired now and looking to enjoy the next faze of our lives Not sure if I have the courage to do the big lap. I have been riding for years but never big trips, didn't have the time. I am interested in what program you use to edit the videos They were great Am looking forward to your next adventures Greg
Hi Greg, thanks so much for your comment. FinalCutPro was the program used to edit our GoPro Hero 8 & 9 and iPhone footage. I think back to my Dad’s black and white slides he’d proudly show off and reflect how how lucky we are to have all this immediate technology available to us. Now home, we are really thanking ourselves for capturing the memories. We are very new to having so much time on our hands….retirement is a challenge in itself! I hope you will do more riding now that you have more time. All the best, Nic & Steve 👍🍻
Thanks Peter! No you didn’t miss anything….Stay tuned for the next adventure and Tassie is definitely on the menu….especially now that the ferry leaves from Geelong 👍🍻
Granted the tiger would have been more comfortable but the Suzuki is far more reliable. You can buy parts for the Suzuki at any milk bar well almost as opposed to the tiger where the usual response is it will take a week or so to get the part in. Also the Suzuki is cheaper to service. This coming from a guy the rides a bmw k1600gt. Should trade it for a Suzuki. Great. Series loved it gunna miss it. Stay upright
