Only The Strong 0:53
Brave Faces 6:27 (Full length audio version available on the Scream In Blue CD)
I saw them in 1990. I have never felt so much energy coming from a stage before or since. Had there been a roof (it was an amphitheater), it would have been blown clean off during "Only The Strong." Best show I have ever seen.
I was at this very concert ... 16 years old I was ... up near the front ..... amazing experience!! Saw The Clash there too, same year ... still have the ticket stubs for both
Saw the Clash there too, up the front..didnt fully realise how legendary it was to be there back then as an 18yr old
Shoulda seem em at French's on Oxford street just a year or 2 b4 this concert men. They held nothing back at all at the Head Injuries stage nothing was left in thge tank or on the shelf of band or anudence after an Oils concert then 'Adrien' woulod jump the
I remember buying "Scream in Blue Live" in the early '90's at my local record store, plugging the CD into my car stereo, and being COMPLETELY blown away by the power of this band. Heard the hits before, of course, but this was something toally animalistic. So great to see the video now; it does not disappoint.
I was there that night as well up near the front & they blew me away!!! Over the last 30 years I have paid some big bucks to see some big bands & it really sucks walking out disappointed. The only disappointment I ever had at an oils gig was that unfortunately they couldn't play all night. Would love to see them reunite !!
Take me back to this time and place please ! Real music just awesome
best aussie band and one of the very best in the world. They need to get back together!
They're back!!!!!!!!!!! and I got tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was privileged to have seen this band on Long Island, '94. Quite a sweaty crowd after they were through with us.
Well said rpw. Saw them in 93 in New Jersey. We were surrounded by people who had never seen the oils before. They were in a state of disbelief of the powered performance.
Opening song, "Only the Strong" sets the tone! Great band at a great time!
Saw them at the old Ritz Ballroom in the East Village in the fall of '85. They were incredible.
Unbelievable i was there as a 16 year old year 11 at high school i remember the pink oils tshirts JJJ were selling.Great night
I met Peter last year, great guy!
Thanks very much for the upload, I'm always impressed at how tight they were live. Awesome!
This was a GREAT gig!!

Love the Oils in the day. Bring on the 2017 tour. See you in Kuranda. It will be epic.
Underrated is one of the most overused words in the English language, but for this band it absolutely applies, at least in America.
"Capitol theatre" is a great tough live !

Place without a Postcard.... More Auzzie than moove flavoured milk, Red Healers and Long Reef Bombie!!! With a conscience... Kudos Oils.. Great footage, Performance and Sound...

@Greatfox200
Yes I have! I cannot stand film that plays too fast. You're the first person to mention it.
And thinking back, I've tidied up the audio/visual synch by a few frames here and there.
I think midnight oil were the greatest group of the 80's....stuff overrated crud like U2
This was then they had a real bass player.... At their peak!
How do I get a mp3 of this show? Any help would be appreciated. Rock the World in 2017!!!!
