Just realise this when I today watching Contact from 1997 with Jodie Foster, which have a IQ of 132 and co actor in the film is not other that James Woods. Two smart actors in one movie.
There's something I don't understand. My IQ isn't very high. The point is why are they saying "two times" at the beginning instead of right expression: "twice"? Both of them know it isn't right and they say it many times, like if they were playing with the language. Any answer? James Woods must be the terror of every interviewer. He's very fast talking and connecting ideas. Creating ideas and jokes.
Maybe in writing you would say two times as opposed to "twice", but "twice" isn't really an incorrect response, just less formal. Sounds like it's not your native language, but yeah, it's not an incorrect response necessarily

Your English instructor probably told you it was incorrect because he wanted you to get in the habit of using "twice", which is like a shortcut way saying it.

My brother graduated salutatorian of his high school class, aced his PSAT and SAT, graduated magna cum laude from college, and is fluent in German and Japanese. He has not once bragged about his IQ or his accomplishments. He's actually very humble.
