What kind of strings did you use on this guitar? I just purchased a Jellinghaus Torres 43 from the Grand Salon de Guitar with Maple side and back. It came with high tension carbon strings and the sound is very different from this recording. I enjoyed your presentation immensely, and also love the warm sound texture.
@@scottknapp8984 I am enjoying it very much and currently working on the same Regondi Etude No.1. The carbon strings have a brighter sound, not as warm. The guitar is made in 2022 with spruce top, which may take some time to develop as well. I am calibrating to A4=432Hz, not because I have more preference compared to A=440Hz, but because I think it may have less tension on the guitar which seems to be very fragile. Maybe I am wrong.
It is an ok guitar but it distinctly lacks bass E, and it has a terrible low D. Its looks definitely exceed its sound. The sound is mostly nice in the middle registers. A bit too bright when you go high, and no bass lower than F sharp. If you’re looking for a concert instrument, this is not it. If you’re looking for a pretty guitar, sure. Overall impression: Meh!
It's always a pleasure to hear Tariq play.
Yes it is, Thanks :-)
Yes indeed !
Beautiful playing as always. That tone Tariq achieves is so pleasing
Wonderful guitar, appropriate for this piece and obviously a good guitarist!
Bravo Tariq and Grandguitarsalon !
Beautiful
Thanks
¡¡¡Maestro!!!

Sweet.
Nice sound ! what strings are you using ?
The Jellinghaus guitars come standard from the luthier with Savarez high tension strings and carbon trebles
