Bridgerton is hilarious, but for all the wrong reasons….too many of the cast look gender fluid, starting with the very masculine Kate… The funny is carried through with the costumes, usually using Chinese silk look-alikes, but often skimpy and badly tailored. The jewellery is incredibly tacky, not in the least attempting to look right in the extreme. The musical score caries the joke through, but the shocker was finding at the end that the narrator was none other than Julie Andrews, but I think she participated in the project simply out of a sense of humour, wondering where this multiracial ensemble would actually end up. I watched this whole show with a sense of disbelief… so many lines had been crossed - but that’s probably why I just immediately didn’t dismiss it as thrash, just as a guilty pleasure.
He had plenty in season one and very well acted. I first thought is because of Kate actress as it is known for indian culture to be quite conservative. If that would have been right we would have not had not even the end of season scenes so i think the reason is the writers, they went on and on with the blasted love triangle till the 6th episode so they could not make it too sexy or Kate would look like an ass toward her sister, whom i might say it was a very unfortunate cast. I rarely ever see such a bad actress. She acted like a Vanessa Hudgens wannabe in Switched.
