    Hey man I appreciate the great info. I also appreciate that you are out there to help others and not just yourself. We are working on making our towing operation more efficient. Are you up for having a call or zoom meeting to share ideas? If so, DM me and we can set it up. We run Brown's Automotive in Smithfield, Va and have 5 tow trucks. Thanks again and keep up the good work~!

But it is difficult to get starting out if business credit hasn't been established. Most people tend to have to go with chrysler capital for a dodge is another option but it gets very expensive just to start out.

    Really good info Thanks. How do you feel about someone using a half-ton truck with a tilt bed car trailer? Instead of the usual rollback or wrecker. Only towing light duty trucks and cars. Could this be a possibility?

    Hey thanks for sharing the information, I just started my own towing business last year, I use google ads, I was doing good in the beginning but now it got so slow and google is expensive. I'm in Snellville area I don't care about heavy volume either I just need 3 good tows daily and I'll be fine

      I'm actually parked in Snellville as i type this! Glad to help anyway i can. Google adwords can be expensive. I recommend setting a daily limit. Slowly go down on your daily limits to see how it affects your call volume. Lots of competition in the area but quality service goes a long way.

    When you say you need to make $75 per hour if you have an older truck how many hour day is that $75 based on? For example, 12 hour day at $75 = $900 per day.

    • @Guardianautoservices
      @Guardianautoservices День тому

      @stevenintexas6947 based on all overhead / fixed expenses. Current economy is now 100 to 125 a working hr. So when the truck is running it needs to be doing that at minimum to turn a profit

      Depends on a variety of things. If you haven't formed your own company start there. Focus on getting business and personal credit built or fixed. Then figure out what you can comfortably afford.

    What if you don’t have a tow yard and trying to get started?

    • @Guardianautoservices
      @Guardianautoservices Рік тому +1

      A tow yard is only important depending on the type of towing you do.. non consensual towing like repos, impounds from private property or doing police rotation work dealing with accidents then yes you need a lot. All other towing you really do not need it, atleast starting out.

    How do i actually sign up with the motor clubs?

    • @Guardianautoservices
      @Guardianautoservices Рік тому

      I go over that in my other video talking about motor club. Easiest way is to google search " service provider application" for what ever motorclub your working for. They will also call you via your google listing if they are needing help when there isn't a contracted provider in your area. When they start calling you can be listest as a non contracted service provider which is actually better.
