I remember hearing this song playing everywhere 13 years ago. It’s a pretty good song, so hearing it again after all these years later feels nostalgic.
What is Jamiroquai UP to?! We need a comeback, like NOW. I’m such a super fan, since the beginning. Come back, Space Cowboy, the people and planet need ya. XxxooO ✨💘🎀✨
1998…I’d just got liberty and a car in my first year in the navy. This album was played the entire time I drove the Florida panhandle that weekend and made me a lifelong fan
Man, I just love me some Jamiroquai. I remember the day I bought this LP. I have a good feeling behind this cut. It reminds me of tryna find the elusive baby blue Old Navy performance fleece that was virtually impossible to find.

Incredible musicianship. The video was immensely creative. ❤️
i thought this song came out like a year ago at most but looked it up and its from the 90s??
kudos to everyone who worked on it thats crazy man
WoW, love this bridge
omg that 2:40 instrumental that isn't in other version of the song...
magic.
bacame my favorite part
One of the greatest things to ever grace my ears. God was in the studio!
Finally a perfect equalisation of his voice that was incredibly low on the CD-ROM
Great start for this day.. the Musicvideo was mindblowing. love it.
Thank you for this gift Jamiroquai, this and the many others. Good vibes all.
when this came out in '97, the man accurately predicted the future. a timeless work of art!
I was watching Derry Girls and I decided to check this song out and now I can’t stop. Someone help I’ve been listening to this song for 4 hours straight.
Wait, never mind, don’t intervene.
Legendary song!
Ooh, hey-hey, aw
What we're livin' in?
Let me tell ya
And it's a wonder men can eat at all
When things are big that should be small
Who can tell what magic spells we'll be doin' for us?
And I'm givin' all my love to this world
Only to be told
I can't see, I can't breathe
No more will we be
And nothin's gonna change the way we live
'Cause we can always take, but never give
And now that things are changing for the worse, see
Whoa, it's a crazy world we're livin' in
And I just can't see that half of us immersed in sin
Is all we have to give these
Futures made of virtual insanity, now
Always seem to be governed by this love we have
For useless twisting of our new technology
Oh, now there is no sound
For we all live underground
And I'm thinkin' what a mess we're in
Hard to know where to begin
If I could slip the sickly ties that earthly man has made
And now every mother can choose the colour
Of her child, that's not nature's way
Well, that's what they said yesterday
There's nothin' left to do but pray
I think it's time I found a new religion
Whoa, it's so insane to synthesize another strain
There's something in these futures that we have to be told
Futures made of virtual insanity, now
Always seem to be governed by this love we have
For useless twisting of our new technology
Oh, now there is no sound
For we all live underground, whoa
Now there is no sound
If we all live underground
And now it's virtual insanity
Forget your virtual reality
Oh, there's nothin' so bad
As a man-made man
Oh yeah, I know, yeah (take it to the dance floor)
Ooh, I know I can't go on
Ooh, of this virtual insanity we're living in
Has got to change, yeah
Things will never be the same
And I can't go on while we're living in, oh
Oh, virtual insanity
Oh, this world has got to change
'Cause I just, I just can't keep going on
In this virtual, virtual insanity
That we're livin' in, that we're livin' in
And a virtual insanity is what it is
Yeah, ooh
Futures made of virtual insanity, now
Always seem to be governed by this love we have
For useless twisting of our new technology
Oh, now there is no sound
For we all live underground
Oh, futures made of, now, virtual insanity
Now we all, we seem to be governed by a love
For these useless twisting of our new technology
And now there is no sound, for we all live underground
Yes, we do, oh
now, this life that we live in
(Virtual insanity) it's all goin' wrong
Out of the window (livin' in), you know
(Virtual insanity) that there is nothing worse than
(Livin' in) a man-made man
(Virtual insanity) there is nothing worse than
(Livin' in) a foolish man (virtual insanity), hey!
Virtual insanity is what we're livin' in, yeah, yeah
Well, it's alright
I agree
This will always be one of my favourite songs 😊 I can remember hearing it for the very first time on the 4th of August 2019 (I know I'm late hehe 😅) and I literally could not get over how amazing and unique it was 😌💚
I remember hearing this song playing everywhere 13 years ago. It’s a pretty good song, so hearing it again after all these years later feels nostalgic.
If you asked me what was the greatest song of all time, I would say this.
This jam will always be legendary!
Yes! Truth!
What is Jamiroquai UP to?! We need a comeback, like NOW. I’m such a super fan, since the beginning. Come back, Space Cowboy, the people and planet need ya. XxxooO ✨💘🎀✨
It's super cool!!!
From Japan.
Slightly ahead of its time..I thought this was one of the best music videos ever made, and the lyrics are probably more relatable now!
Thank you jamrioquai, very cool
1998…I’d just got liberty and a car in my first year in the navy.
This album was played the entire time I drove the Florida panhandle that weekend and made me a lifelong fan
2:59 this part is just amazing to me. Idk why.
that’s my favorite part, it goes so hard
Can't believe i was 5 when this came out. It was always the highlight of my day when I caught this track on the radio or telly
god why is the interlude SO GOOD AGH
Jamiroquai warned us. Here we are now, in plain virtual insanity
Man, I just love me some Jamiroquai. I remember the day I bought this LP. I have a good feeling behind this cut. It reminds me of tryna find the elusive baby blue Old Navy performance fleece that was virtually impossible to find.
I love this band, their music transcends borders! Greetings from Honduras!!! 🇭🇳 👍🏻😎
this song reminds me of such amazing times! the 90s! skateboarding! 411vm 18!
I remember being 7 years old dancing on the couch alongside the MV !
20 years ago I was listening to this in my car and now it’s all come true☹️
People talking about the precision with the timeless lyrics, while I'm wondering if the band got into trouble with Ferrari for the album cover
We are checking
I love the audio quality in this one! I'm so grateful...
Now I can't stop picturing a future in December watching an episode of my favorite series and listening to this song while an arrow of 'To be continued' shows up...
Aaaah! The irony. Of how I get to hear this song. Had the CD. Love to all
This song is unbelievably good when your stoned, even better than it is when your sober.
based comment
This is the most youtube comment of all time
This song predates me by 5 years and its still fucking good. The 90s had some solid hits man.
I miss the 90s. I miss my Parents. I miss my Family. I miss being Happy. I miss the Music.
hellooo just checking 8 months lateer, ya good?
It is truly a timeless masterpiece! I will never get tired of this song.
The best Funk/Acid Jazz band ever...✨🎶
Im 17 years i enjoy vibing to this.
