The flash thinks faster, both can move fast enough to screw with time but the Flash has the speedforce in some iterations and can process faster movement, Superman generally has to really build to it at the point of messing with time.

I would have legitimately enjoyed this being shown in a prologue to 'Justice League' given that Barry claimed later in the film to have considered Superman a personal hero. A scene like this would have all but instantly established that A) they've met before and B) Barry was still uncomfortable on some level considering that Superman saw him as an equal. We could have cut from this race right to Superman's memorial, followed by the cellphone footage of him doing good and such. Then, we'd get a bit more emphasis on their interaction during Superman's resurrection. Barry just seems spooked. He doesn't look like a personal hero has turned his gaze on him with legitimate killing intent in his eyes.

Supes is somewhere in the mach 100 or so if i`m not mistaken, but the Flash is straight up MASSIVELY FTL. Both of them aren`t yet here tho, but i`m guessing they start them off not to fast so we could gradually see them (especially the Flash) get faster. I’ve been waiting for these for a long time. I grew up on the 70’s versions of batman and robin, Wonder Woman, and the flash. I thought CW Was gonna do it but it never happened. All these made into modern movies and made into a series of connected movies like the mcu phases. Aquaman, flash, Batman, justice league. Hope they keep it up.
This movie had so much potential but they ended making it such a garbage film. Avengers Endgame made more in one day than Justice League made in its entire theatrical run
Most people didn't view this scene that way cause the big secret DC keeps from people about how his flight works. That is why superman would never race the flash using flight.
So we are clear superman flys by changing the gravitational field around him. If you watch the movies and supergirl tv show you'll see when they are in a rush and take off in flight they will leave an impact in the ground. They will also tell people to step back so the field doesn't harm others. His Superspeed doesn't run off his gravity organ so when is ruuning he would be effected the same as flash.
I'm not the biggest fan of Ezra Miller playing Barry BUT I must admit- he has the physicality of the Flash down! The pose he does just before they start is executed perfectly identical to the canon and it made the comic geek kid in me squeal.

Not gonna lie, this was the only scene I wish they kept in the Snyder Cut. (I don't care about the speed difference, it's still a fun scene, referencing an iconic moment of their friendship. Barry was already quirky in some scenes & there were still some jokes they kept in the movie, so it wouldn't hurt much to have one more, plus this scene is obviously after everything, so it could've been a reshot post credit scene.)

There is multiple cannon scenarios, but my favorite one, is after they have tied a bunch of times in the past, and once flash gets serious for some reason they are running together while superman tries to persuade Flash to stop saying they have always tied, to what Flash replies "those where for charity clark..." And runs off at a speed Superman cant catch.
The flash can change time and space with how fast he is and superman can do everything but beat the flash in a race. They are not built for the same thing I agree

But the flash in terms of raw speed is faster, and when fighting on a surface, the flash can achieve more powerful kinetic blows. If a coin hit you whilst travelling at the speed of light, it would rip a clean home through you. Imagine the blunt impact of a fist going that fast. Flash’s big weakness though is that if you give him no space to maneuvre, then he can’t accelerate. Also, it’s suspected that superman’s powers don’t derive from him being super strong, he’s built, but he’s not significantly strong. His powers come from telekinesis. When he flies, he’s actually using his mind to lift himself. That superman’s powers do depend on how “confident” he is feeling.

I would have legitimately enjoyed this being shown in a prologue to 'Justice League' given that Barry claimed later in the film to have considered Superman a personal hero. A scene like this would have all but instantly established that A) they've met before and B) Barry was still uncomfortable on some level considering that Superman saw him as an equal.
We could have cut from this race right to Superman's memorial, followed by the cellphone footage of him doing good and such.
Then, we'd get a bit more emphasis on their interaction during Superman's resurrection. Barry just seems spooked. He doesn't look like a personal hero has turned his gaze on him with legitimate killing intent in his eyes.
I just don't like Ezra' acting here. And Superman's face in the end is horrible.
If someone told me this is fan-made, I'd believe them.

I’ve been waiting for these for a long time. I grew up on the 70’s versions of batman and robin, Wonder Woman, and the flash. I thought CW Was gonna do it but it never happened. All these made into modern movies and made into a series of connected movies like the mcu phases. Aquaman, flash, Batman, justice league. Hope they keep it up.

There is multiple cannon scenarios, but my favorite one, is after they have tied a bunch of times in the past, and once flash gets serious for some reason they are running together while superman tries to persuade Flash to stop saying they have always tied, to what Flash replies "those where for charity clark..." Superman is more versatile. But the flash in terms of raw speed is faster, and when fighting on a surface, the flash can achieve more powerful kinetic blows.
If a coin hit you whilst travelling at the speed of light, it would rip a clean home through you. Imagine the blunt impact of a fist going that fast.
Flash’s big weakness though is that if you give him no space to maneuvre, then he can’t accelerate.
Also, it’s suspected that superman’s powers don’t derive from him being super strong, he’s built, but he’s not significantly strong.
His powers come from telekinesis. When he flies, he’s actually using his mind to lift himself.

Nah, I like him. Flash's personality in the comics is cool, and Flash here is as well cool as the comics. The suit looks fine, the actor doesn't fit the role too much, and the lighting is normal. The only thing is stupid and idiotic is the way he run...
