Life is good brother! Thanks for the video nick. This Hawaii video was dope. Really enjoyed the view. Sometimes u jus gotta keep quiet and enjoy the sounds around u. Thas what I love about kayak fishing too. The sound of the ocean. Thanks again
I saw your previous post and was hoping you'd do a fishing vid from Hawaii! As always, you never disappoint and great job in trying to keep the waters clean! 😃🎣 p.s. That spot where you posted from in your striper video got blown up! Lol. I saw maybe 30 shore fisherman trying to get in on the action. No worries as it goes with the territory.
HUGE AMOUNTS of respect to you for jumping into the water to pick-up the trash. Another way you could have done it, if you didn't want to get wet, would be to simply walk the shoreline and pick up 5-10 pieces of trash that you find. That way, even if you didn't retrieve the cup that fell into the water, you would have STILL removed more trash from the ocean than you put in. And, in the big picture of things, that's the most important factor.
Nick, greetings from Okinawa, Japan! Looks like the fish were smaller today, but you had a good time and got in some swimming time! Now that travel is open, you should consider coming to Okinawa for some nice fishing. Taku was here about 3 years ago and caught some nice fish. Come on over......
Is there a website or anything on the island I can find as a fish chart on what I might catch shore fishing with a small rod? Trying to catch and cook lunch if I can while I'm down there as a bucket list thing
I know you got family on Oahu to visit with Nick, but you gotta get to the other islands like the Big Island/Kauai. Much better shoreline action. Lanai/Molokai even better if you can manage to get over there. As usual the farther you can get away from the masses the better the opportunities. Hope to finally see you get a proper Ulua on your Uncle's boat.(Gotta boost 'em outta da rocks as the locals would say.) This time of year is good, lots of bait still around, more comfortable temps, before the big winter storms/swells come in.
Nah, leave the neighbor island fishing grounds alone. Bumbye if tourists and Oahu residents start going to the neighbor islands to fish, then, before you know it, there won't be any fish on the neighbor islands either.
Intro...content...outro...People want to see you, know your game plan, adjustments you make along the way, etc. Maybe Ask Adam and Taku to watch your vids before you post them to see what kind of constructive criticism they have for you. I'm definitely not hating on you. Just want to see you do well. I always see you on Adam's videos, so I figured I would check one of yours out. Good luck and tight lines!
Each UA-camr has one’s own style. Personally, I prefer to have different ways of going about things on various channels. It’s important to distinguish your channel from everyone else’s. Nick was going for a total tell all in this video. He always does things like you mentioned more or less. Waikiki was all that needed to be said in this video in my opinion. Check out Matt’s with fisherman’s life and June with more than fishing as well if you watch taku and Adam!!
Sweet. Brisk morning walk, fishing, and a short swim.
I grew up inwaikiki in the 40s50s 60s there was so much fish everywhere and anywhere u went. Every kind of fish known in hawaii. Wht good memories!
Thanks for making a fun vid without all the talking!

I went fishing there last month. I just caught a few needle fish using the kastmaster lure
Great "SAVE!"
If there's an ocean, there will be fish!

Look up fly fishing Hawaii on UA-cam. There is a guy out in Honolulu that guides from shore but its not cheap
@@NickFish007 will do and thanks!
When I saw you leave your stuff on the path, I just knew it would've gone in the ocean before it happened 😄 🤣
Nick, you should get out on a kayak while in Hawaii and get a big Mahi!
Bro! You went for the coffee instead of the POG!🤦🏻♂️ interesting setup with a bobber and soft bait.
It was Kona coffee 🔥🔥I had a shot of juice on the way back up lol
how much was it to send your rods there? I bought a travel surf rod and a travel whipping rod just for hawaii for carry ons.
I used one of my checked bags so it was free!
Visiting next month, where is this wall?
There are several walls like this along waikiki beach, just make sure it's ok to fish. Every other year fishing is closed in this area!
@@NickFish007 thanks for the heads up. Didn’t realize fishing is closed, I’ll look up more info on regulations
Those fish inhale more sunblock than bait fish lol😂
Hanapa'a...Watch out for the spike on the bottom of the lai. If he gets you, you'll feel it the rest of the day. 👍
what size reel/lb test would you recommend?
2500-5000 size reel. 30# braid for small stuff!
@@NickFish007 I appreciate your response! Trying to do some research before I head out to Maui in January.

sun worshippers out in force that early? Wonder what they were thinking Nick with you and your fishing pole?
nice Lai and Omilu!
Nice jump in the water. We should all be stewards of the land.
Next time you miss the bite just keep reeling!
What bobber was that again? Tia
.5 oz Hammer Bomb Float
@@NickFish007 sick. Thanks, heading there this week
Salt water all over the reel.
I’ve been on that exact same breakwall before and thinking: “This water is too clear. There’s no way there’s going to be fish.” 😅
