Wow. What a music video. To me it seems like the spotlight has been around him all his life while he’s been in the shadows. He could have taken shortcuts in life (the door), but instead did things on his own terms and eventually reached the light. Powerful music video
From what I’m gathering I think this video is about a time he ran away from his grandma’s house when his mom was in rehab and I’m guessing it was some sort of turning point in his life. Just based on a few song lyrics.
