There is almost no sources of food in Nepal that provide vitamin D. Fatty fish from the sea and certain types of mushroom are the only sources, which are not easily available in Nepal. The only natural source is sunshine, most effective from 10 am to 2 pm. Please get exposed to sunlight at least 30 min in a week with clothes removed on at least 80% body surface and without using any sun creams. If it is not possible to do so, you need to take vitamin D supplement in consultation with a doctor.
