Having to draw something on a separate piece of paper and then glue it on to your journal is so relatable, especially when your journal pages are so thin
I love how you challenge yourself to get out of your comfort zone. The color pallet is gorgeous! I love how much you hyped yourself up! As you should 💅💕
Amazing idea! The meaning behind the snake is really inspiring for a new beginning. Usually I don't believe in New Year's resolutions because they are often generic and unrealistic, but for this year I'd like to learn to be more conscious about my progresses, keeping track of them on my BJ. Your coloring technique always leaves me in awe!
i loooove this theme!! your drawing is so beautiful and i’ve always loved the idea of doing the new zodiac as the first monthly theme, and this is simply gorgeous 🐍🫶
I'm so excited to see a Chinese/ Lunar New Year themed design! (I did my January spread with that theme too but I didn't have any snakes in it, yours looks pretty btw!) I like your "door pages" idea too!
I'm so tired, worrying for over a week over my new bullet journal and not writing a single thing on it. I had so many bullet journals in the past and every single time, I messed up and gave up. Now I can't even start.
Maybe this kind of bullet journaling is not for you. Maybe you need a minimalistic Journal - watching all of the content creators creating these beautiful pieces of art can be very intimidating. Do you need a bullet journal at all? Do you need habit trackers, future logs or whatever? I use a calender (A5) - sometimes I create one myself, sometimes I buy one. I have 1 week on 2 pages with a lot of room for notes. I don ´t need habit trackers and the like - maybe you should think about / come up with what suits your needs best. For me it is mainly to keep track of my appointments, that ´s it. I write the appointment down on the day it is happening and I make a note about it in my notes -section, in the week app 3 or 4 weeks before that date. That ´s pretty much all I need…. Sometimes I put some stickers on a page, sometimes I draw a little doodle, sometimes I use Color for the days of the week, but most of the time it is black and white. Don ´t stress yourself, if you have the feeling that you have messed up, then it is not your fault, it is that this method is not for you. Think about it and relax 🎉 Have a wonderful new year - by the way: you can start a calendar oder bulletjournal whenever you like, if you want it can be the 19 th of April for example 😉 🎉
all good points! def evaluate if a bujo is right for you and it’s ok to be inconsistent for a while. if it works go back to it! and be easy on yourself ◡̈
I recommend having a look at the Bullet Journal youtube page. True bullet journalling is based around functionality over beauty. As amazing as these setups are it is not where bujo started. Ryder Caroll invented the system and has videos and a book about how he does it. From there you can make it what you need. Dont be discouraged 😊
I feel it too. I have see much kind of journal, and I use some of them. But, it finally just like a blank page with nothing. And this year, I start to not writing too much bujo in my journal. Maybe you can evaluate from the last year, what is the bujo that really work on you. I'm sure that you have one or two kind of journal thing that make you really enjoy to write on it. And don't push too hard to make it beautiful, aestetic or something like that. Keep it simple and functional on your life. Good luck.
that shedding old skin quote kinsa hits different as I'm working on healing exema on my hands. I also absolutely adore the theme, the colors, everything! I think I'm gonna recreate this in honor of getting back to selfcare in 2025❤
Purchased your undated bullet journal, love it. For the future, please consider making them more greyscale instead of dark black. You did a beautiful job though
January - beginning - snakes, it's low-key giving Genesis - beginning - serpent 😊😊 It turned out so good Soph! 🤩🤩 Can't believe the year's already ending tho😢 Cheers to 2025 and amazing Mingo Studio spreads! 😃❤️
I also did a snake cover page (although not as artistic as yours 😂) but I also looked at the Chinese new year for inspiration and when I saw it was the snake I knew it was a sign. I had many dreams about snakes in the past months and feel like I'm in a stage of transformation for the better.
Oh as a snake lover this hits the spot! 😍😍 Beautiful art as always! (Been a follower for a while but a while ago I was clumsy and idk how but deleted my old youtube account with which I've been following you 😂)
I love the snake, I am going to add snakes to my may spread, it is my birthday month and I was born in the year of the snake. I'm not telling you which years but it was a while ago😢. Your January layout is lovely.
Do you use a different camera app to film or just the default iPhone camera app? If so, how do you combat the auto color-correction that turns white pages into blue if you know what I mean
🤯 I can't believe this. After so many adorable, beautiful bujo inspirational ideas, you do a serpent? I hope your 2025 is better than all the evil that the symbol of a serpent conveys.
if you listened to the voiceover you’d know i drew the snake because it means wisdom and intuition in the lunar new year tradition !! snakes are beautiful creatures not all symbols of evil serpents !!
