This has always been my favorite Kanami solo, so concise and balanced, It’s short sweet perfection. I love the whole song, especially Miku’s backing vocals, the Maids are awesomely one of a kind.
Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Anemone, Endless Story, Memorable, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile -- an unbelievable range of mid-tempo songs from the greatest hard rock band on the planet - Band-Maid. "Daydreaming," "YOLO," "Puzzle,” and a host of others are world-class masterpieces. Although I love Daydreaming just the way it is and believe it may be Band-Maid's best composed and overall accessible song, I've always wondered if it was sung in English, how deep in the international market Daydreaming would have traveled...? It'll be interesting to see if Bestie (sung in English) hits new markets. Oh well, I'll stop daydreaming now. Thx Leo, for another great Band-Maid reaction!
Hey Leo, this is a power ballad that ranks with the best of them. Now check out the MV of FROM NOW ON and prepare your fingers for lots of action. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Peace. 3.15
Great reaction Master Leo. Daydreaming is/was Kanami's (Lead guitar and main composer) favorite song to play, and coincidentally my favorite song to listen to. As you mentioned, fantastic layers of music and the vocals...sweeeeeet! Miku (Rhythm guitar, second lead and backing vocals, main lyricist, and band founder) was the original lead singer when the band originally formed as a 4 piece. Being the smart Pigeon that she is, after two live performances, she realized her pop/idol voice wasn't aligning with vision she had for the band. She approached management to find another singer which would match her vision...enter Saiki. And the rest is history...going on their 11th year together and still getting better and better. Band-Maid essentially has 2 lead vocalist. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
Thank you! This stage looks much like the Yokohama stage from 2023 (10th anniversary concert). I think it's the moon that tricked me 🙂 Wonderful piano opening! The official MV is also very good! ❤
@@skrrytch Yokohama Arena version started with Kanami’s guitar solo, not piano solo. Also there’s image of moon on the screen behind, so definitely not from Zepp Tokyo show.
Thanks from Japan 有難う 💛。 I went to see Band-Maid's ACOUSTIC concert held in Shibuya on March 20 this year. All of 14 songs performed there were amazing. The finale of the show "Daydreaming" was especially breathtaking for me. In addition to the beautiful song in itself, kudos to FIVE instrumental players (Saiki on piano !) They always compel or lead me to bring tears.
Cool, your reaction vids are ton of fun. Check out their instrumental, From Now On. They totally let go from the first bar. But unlike most rock instrumentals, it's a perfectly written and arranged piece. Also, listen Blooming, Influencer, and Black Hole.
This has been a fantastic reaction series! It's always fun to see someone who really gets how special these ladies are and appreciates all the layers of the amazing art they create. I would love to see you react to their song Awkward - you would really appreciate the journey: ua-cam.com/video/KLk_o1PgNvY/v-deo.html
i loved the piano opening and im waiting to see who is playing and no one is playing, you have five talent,s on the stage and no one can play the keys, what the fxxxxxx.
Kanami, the lead guitarist, is a classically trained pianist beginning at age 3. She composes on piano and records all her keyboard parts for the track. I would love to see her play this opening, but I believe at this stage of their career, I’m guessing they didn’t have the budget.

Saiki-san and Miku-chan - my favorite vocal combination! ♥️🩵
I thought I preferred the studio version till I heard this!!! Saki is magnificent as of course are all five members
Musically, I'm a 90's kid and this song sounds so nostalgic to me the title should be Reminiscing

In my view daydreaming is one of Band Maids best songs. Sadly, it is rarely reacted to.
Thank you for your reaction and analysis.
I do love you trying to predict what Akane will play on the drums and nearly every time she surprises you.
Thank you!

Wonderful piano opening!
The official MV is also very good! ❤
The video is from 2017 Shinkiba Studio Coast show, and it’s floating around on youtube for some time now.
@@HaroMatsuRestarted Yes? Really. It looks so much like 'Yokohama stage' 🙂I think, then its somewhat okay 😀

Love the Maids
I love Akane's drum in this.
Ah, bit of mid-tempo magic from the ladies. Nice to see the live version being reacted to, kudos for tracking it down.
Great reaction 👏
Thanks for your reaction!
A fan personal fave, emotional and beautiful
I recommend PAGE.
