I am curious if all characters make it to the end of the campaign or how you want to play it out. In my expericene it might be an idea to switch between different characters/groups because the campaign is sooo huge.
I'd be surprised if every character made it all the way through from start to finish, playing in every book along the way. We'll have to see. Players will likely get the option to switch characters between books--whether their other characters survived or not.

I have a feeling that some of our original characters will be pushing up daisies long before the end of the campaign...
