All older polaris atvs require you to touch the throttle slightly when shifting or they wont shift and make that noise. Had a 250, 400, 500, and 325, and they all did the same thing.
@@jonmickley6979 I believe tog however the problem here is he doesn't wait for the idle to go down so the dogs in the tranny just grind. I have the same machine and just replaced them because the prev. Owner did the same thing
