In Surah al-Kahf of the Qur'an (Chapter 18 entitled 'the Cave'), as well as in Prophetic commentary (Ahadith), Gog and Magog are described as two people who descended from father Adam (alahi salam) and who were created by Allah Most High, and endowed with great power.
"None but I can destroy them", said Allah (in Sahih Muslim)
Surah al-Kahf has described how they were contained behind an iron barrier because they used their power to commit acts of Fasad (acts of wickedness, oppression, corruption). The Surah also implied that they would use power to wage war on those who lived lives of faith and righteousness, and that they would act malevolently against those who lived the primitive way of life.
The Surah went on to inform that when the Last Age commenced, "Allah would bring down the barrier" and Gog and Magog (who are a major sign of the Last Age) would be released into the world. Surah al-Anbiyah then revealed that they would eventually "spread out in every direction" - indicating that with their invincible power they would take control of the whole world and for the first time in history, one people would rule all of mankind:
He [Dhul-Qarnain] said: "This (wall) is a mercy from my Lord: but when the warning of my Lord comes to pass, He will reduce it to dust (and Gog and Magog would thus be released into the world); and the promise of my Lord is true."
(Qur'an, 18:98)
"But there is a ban on a town (Jerusalem) which We have destroyed: that they (the people [Bani Israel/Children of Israel] of the town) shall not return (to reclaim that town as their own); until Gog and Magog are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly spread out in every direction (replicating themselves amongst all the peoples of the world)."
(Qur'an, 21:95-96)
In Surah al-Anbiyah above, the Qur'an referred one more time to Gog and Magog while making mention of a 'town' that Allah destroyed, and its people were expelled and then banned from returning to reclaim that 'town' as their own until Gog and Magog were released and had spread out in every direction. Those whose spiritual vision is illumined by 'light' that comes from Allah Most High can recognize both the 'town' and the Gog & Magog world order. That light gives them the capacity to penetrate the 'internal reality' of things.
The 'town' is Jerusalem.

Sheikh Imran Hossien makes more sense with his deep study and analysis of Gog and Magog (Yajuj Majuj) with his knowledge of Quran, hadith and history. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Gog and Magog people dig every day until, when they can almost see the rays of the sun, the one in charge of them says: "Go back and we will dig it tomorrow." Then Allah puts it back, stronger than it was before. (This will continue) until, when their time has come, and Allah wants to send them against the people, they will dig until they can almost see the rays of the sun, then the one who is in charge of them will say: "Go back, and we will dig it tomorrow if Allah wills.' So they will say: "If Allah wills." Then they will come back to it and it will be as they left it. So they will dig and will come out to the people, and they will drink all the water. The people will fortify themselves against them in their fortresses. They will shoot their arrows towards the sky and they will come back with blood on them, and they will say: "We have defeated the people of earth and dominated the people of heaven." Then Allah will send a worm in the napes of their necks and will kill them thereby.'" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the beasts of the earth will grow fat on their flesh."

Hi to all, It is my detail analysis about GOG ang MAGOG. my english is not much good because it is not my first language. but i hope you will understand what i mean.
i had read several book(including Quran and Hadith) and listent from several islamic scholor about GOG and MAGOG. Here is my view.
according to quran, Zulqrnain went on far east and west and then He went on third direcion(direction is not described in quran) and where he found a nation who were
complaining about GOG and MAGOG corruption. in simple, Allah keep that place secret and only ALLAh know where are they.
now come to Hadith, Several Hadith describe that they are in very large number.
1. example: a hadith mention in hell 99% will be fill of GOG and MAGOG and remaining are just 1%.
2. another hadith narrated: when Jesus will pray from GOD for help, then all GOG and MAGOG will be die due to worm on neck. them dead body would be pile over each other. there wouldn't empty space(everywhere will dead body of GOG and MAGOG). this hadith again show they are in large number.
3. another hadith: GOG and MAGOG descend group by group and when some last group come to sea/river they say there were water in past. this show they will drink and utilize all sea water. it again show them numbers.
4. some narration describe GOG and MAGOG are descendant of NOAH. it mean two nation/tribe.
Now, i come to my conclusion: GOG and MAGOG are not in earth planet.
Surah 21-Al-Anbiya - verse 96

My Explaination: Quran this verse describe that they come down, it show they are coming from some high elevated location.
Surah 18. Al-Kahf, Ayah 84

Quran Translation: Indeed We established his(Zulqarnain) power in the land and We gave him all kinds of ways and means.
My Explanation: This verse is about describing about God giving power to zulqarnain. we gave him all kinds of ways and means. here again GOD didn't describe that what kind of power given to zulqarnain. its just mention all kinds of. its mean GOD given him much powers. so i can say that he was able to travel far east, far west and outside of earth planet.
Surah 18. Al-Kahf, Ayah 93

Quran Translation: Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech.
My Explanation: its mention in Quran that Zulqernain built barrier between two mountain. Most of the planet look like stone/mountain from far distance. just watch images of planet in google.
I don't think it is possible to block a nation between two mountain. I think here word mountain is using as symbol.
Conclusion:

we all human in this earth are just covering approximately 10% in this world. if world population would be 100 time higher there sill would be space for human. but hadith show that only GOG and MAGOG dead body would be as much higher then it would look like pile ( human dead bodies over another body). how GOG and Magog can be on this earth at that much number? that hadith show 99% in hell would be GOG and MAGOG and remaining are 1%. so, we can say GOG and MAGOG population is 99 time higher then earth population.. right? Quran describe that GOG and Magog race down from every slop. this verse may describing coming from another planet.

Can belief in Muhammad as prophet guarantee my eternal life?
Belief in Muhammad Peace and Blessing be Upon Him as a Prophet means you Believe in the teachings of Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him, that is "There is no deity worthy of worship, except One, Allah " The Creator, The Maintainer and Owner of all heavens and the earth' + Believing in all Prophet and Messengers sent by Allah are true Messengers, Believing in scriptures like Torah, Gospel and Quran are revelations from All Might Allah. And Quran as final revelation till day of Judgement + Believing in angels +Believing on day of Judgement. Allah is All knowing - All seen, All Wise. There is no god but One Allah, Allah is Eternal, He has no father nor son, and there is no one Like Allah.
And Islam, which means "Peace" and it also means "Submission to the Creator (of all that exist in universe) is Allah".
Believing in Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him as Prophet means following Quran (revelation from Allah) and Sunnah (traditions or saying of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon Him) .
Now back to you question Maria...By the way all humans will have eternal life after death, but where would that be - Two options --
1: Paradise or Jannah (in Arabic)
2: Hell or Jahanam (in Arabic)
If you follow Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, means you follow Islam.. then YES it Guarantee Paradise with the Will of Allah..as Allah has mentioned many times in the Quran, that reward for Believers and Righteous ones is Paradise.. Also Islam is the only religion that will be accepted on the day of Judgement.
By the way as Islam mean Submission..every single Prophet and Messenger Submitted to Allah..so they all followed Islam, and anyone follow Islam is called Muslim.

Purpose of Writing this Gospel
30 There are also many other signs (attesting miracles) that Jesus performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these have been written so that you may believe [with a deep, abiding trust] that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of God; and that by believing [and trusting in and relying on Him] you may have life in His name.

You deduced that because fiat or any other currency as medium of exchange is not mentioned so it becomes haraam. By that analogy of yours there are so many things not mentioned in the koran. You speak as if the prophet is supposed to know everything when he only speaks of what Allah inspires him regarding religious issues like Dajjal. The matter of that hypothesis - as you said - is simply because he doesn't know when he'll be released like in the other hadith: "if he comes out in my community and I still with them, I'll be his opponent. And if he comes out and I'm no longer with them, then each person will be his opponent." (Or as he said pbuh) so, that doesn't mean the prophet peace be upon him considered the possibility that dajjal might be released by then, it's symply that he acted upon his human side based on his understanding. The prophet never said he knew when dajjal comes out, actually there's a lot of things that he didn't know about... it doesn't necessarily mean dajjal was released at that time just because he suspected a Jewish boy to be dajjal based on his human knowledge and understanding!
