I'm also relying on cron effects (rather than trooper speed) to control the pacing. Regarding Baze: interesting idea to block the counter. I would be most concerned about his reactive TM when an enemy gains a buff, so I would need to make sure Piett can land Daze on his first turn. If I wanted to shut down this counter specifically, I might try Cara Dune instead of KK. If she can stun the entire team, it might be game over. That said, KK is so much better against so many other teams that it's hard to justify the switch. The best block to this counter seems to be a Rebel cron with high Offense/Armor Penetration.
