Although the docu-series got a lot a views, the feedback was that most of those were so-called negative viewings - in other words people either tuned in already disliking Harry and Meghan or viewed the content and decided they didn't like them. That means there is going to be a limited market for another series because so many of the potential audience hold negative views of the people who "star" in any follow-up. As for the cooking show - Meghan is not a chef, nor is she renowned as a gardener, and her reputation as a friend is more than a little tarnished. So that leaves Netflix with the polo documentary - hardly a sure-fire success when the subject is so specific to an elitist sport.

Although the docu-series got a lot a views, the feedback was that most of those were so-called negative viewings - in other words people either tuned in already disliking Harry and Meghan or viewed the content and decided they didn't like them. That means there is going to be a limited market for another series because so many of the potential audience hold negative views of the people who "star" in any follow-up. As for the cooking show - Meghan is not a chef, nor is she renowned as a gardener, and her reputation as a friend is more than a little tarnished. So that leaves Netflix with the polo documentary - hardly a sure-fire success when the subject is so specific to an elitist sport.
Netflix needs to save face and fire them. Just end it already.

I canceled Netflix long ago due to the platform that they have given to the poisonous pair. Even if they did a documentary exposing truth bombs about the vile and vulgar couple, I still wouldn't return to them. Never ever.
Editing to add....even after all of their disasters, Netflix would still be willing to work with them post contract? Now I am even more pleased to have canceled them.

He knows they've no real talent, must know the likelyhood is that Netflix will not be renewing their contract but to do more of selling out his family will destroy any chance of trying to patch things up which is a very slim chance anyway. It doesn't leave them with much but hope perhaps that her ARO will eventually take off and perhaps Harry will be allowed to accept a deal with a company without the Meg (as they don't seem to want her).
As others have suggested, perhaps Netflix can recoup some money by making their own program of the real Harry and Meg and what it was like working with them behind the scenes. Netflix could even tell their story from what they have given them, what's in the public domain and showing the public opinion, their story so far but giving a real view rather than the fairy tale/fluffy rehearsed version that MM likes to portray.
