Its not a full cold start. Say it takes them 2hrs to do the job it's not going to cool down that far to be a serious issue. plus with the thinner higher quality oils... besides, it's German, and everyone says they make good stuff right? lol

@@Falco_e46 I'm not a fan of rasp and I appreciate the power from xpipe even if it is only 5hp or whatever But hp is lost running without a crossover.

I’m leaving the resonator because it’s still our family car, but
would it make a big difference in sound and tone if you run 2.5 pipe from the resonator to the back?
have you done any 2024 M60i yet? X5 or X6? the new S68 engine is so much more quiet. needs a sounds upgrade big time

He's gonna need some Helmholtz resonators or J-pipes on there in a hurry. The 2-box body is gonna act like a bathtub and amplify the bass unpleasantly.
A short resonator will make the tone more crisp, as well.
It's not bad, but he may want to check the Exhaust Addict video with the 650ci and the Vibrant 1792s on there for some inspiration....
or he likes it and leaves it be. Any vehicle that has any of the emissions or whatever their version of cylinder deactivation is going to drone. An exhaust shop does what the customer wants. Very few will deny a customer and the good shops will educate or help you if youre unsure. If he says "straight pipe it" thats what they do. If he comes back he comes back.
It won't drone with all that cabin insulation.
@fish_R_stinky69 yes it will. I own one. That's how I know. Cabin insulation isn't what kills drone and neither is the packing in a muffler. Waves at those low frequencies will go right through it and use the vehicle's body as an amplifier. You need wave cancellatiom just like the OEMs use.
On this channel there was a BMW 50i F15 with straight pipes. white which sounds much much better The F15 sounds like a real V8.This thing sings softly

@@Tiszo1 LOL! I've had V6's almost as big! I had a 4.0 V6 one time. 5.0 litres is small too but Ford has done wonders with this engine.
@@MidwestMotor you need to remember that is car from europe and here 4.4 is pretty big. No offence but we don't need 6.0+ liters engines for making decent power like in usa
