כשהמלחמה פרצה הייתי בברלין. כל הגוף שלי בער מרוב כאב ותחושה עמוקה שאני חייבת לחזור לארץ. אחרי יומיים פה, חטפתי התקף חרדה. עצרתי את האוטו בצד הכביש, התקשרתי לקבל עזרה, ואז הלכתי לקנות ברד, קולה וחבילת סיגריות. אחרי שהצלחתי להסדיר שוב את הנשימה ישבתי אצל ירדוש והבנו שאנחנו חייבות להקליט את "התשובה" דחוף. יומיים אחר כך כבר היינו באולפן.
בזמנים האלו, בהם כולנו המומים, מחפשים אחר מרגוע, נחמה, קרקע בטוחה, קשה להכיל את חוסר הוודאות והאבל הגדול. דעות מנוגדות לכאן ולשם, מנסות לתפוס צד במלחמה הנוראית הזאת, כשבעצם קשה להכיל שאין עדיין תשובה שאפשר לנוח בתוכה. מקווה שתמצאו איזושהי נקודת אור בתוך השיר הזה.

When the war broke I was in Berlin. My whole body was burning in pain, and I had a deep feeling that I must come back home.
After two days here, I had an anxiety attack. I stopped the car, called for help, then I went to buy a Coca cola and some cigarettes. After I could breathe again, I sat at my friend Yarden’s home and we understood that we have to record “The answer” immediately.
Two days later we were already in the studio, recording this song.
In these times, when we’re all in shock, looking for some solace and a safe ground, It’s impossible to contain this great grief, and insecurity. Contradicting opinions, trying to choose sides in this horrific war, while at the moment, there is no real answer to rest in.

In times of desperation, every feeling struggles to have a place in our hearts, including those "unwanted" feelings. But letting them flow can help us to find some balance, in the middle of chaos. Transforming all those feelings into music may be a path to resilience.
