ALMOST Smart Tower Fan | LASKO 42” WindCURVE Tower Fan | Bluetooth APP Controls

Hello and welcome. Today I introduce you to my NEW Lasko 42” WindCURVE Tower Fan. I am really enjoying this fan, especially since it has a Bluetooth/Smartphone APP to help control the functions remotely.
I don’t know why Fan manufacturers have NOT built a Smart FAN YET. I guess this is as smart as we get today. I do like this modern, sleek style and the fan is quiet at a distance of 8 to 12 feet away, I can’t hear it . . . But I can FEEL-IT! So that is GOOD.
**NOTE - This fan cannot be turned ON-and-OFF with a SmartPlug. You must use the Lasko CONNECT APP….or the physical buttons.

Hi Todd. You encouraged me to do this with my fan. I used a Lasko fan that had IR controls instead of Bluetooth. This allowed me to use a YoLink IR controller that was interfaced through IFTTT to Alexa Routines using the Alexa Skill IFTTTrigger. Now I can use Alexa to control my tower fan

you might be able to make it "smart" by double side taping some switchbot clickers to the top buttons and ask alexa to trigger them when it is on. would look crazy tho lol
