- Hey what’s up everyone, I got my first and second round young birds flying together now. I’m glad I didn’t lose any birds from my second round. Settling young birds is so stressful haha! Thanks for watching!

How should i start trap training my young birds? Maybe no older than 6 months? I keep my coop in the garage they kinda know the trap door but at times they don't even go in the coop after sunset all be chilling by my tool racks and stuff lol.
Lol! Make sure they only eat inside your coop and feed them less. That way when you call them they will go in faster. Good luck man!

Good evening, I like the small coop reminds me of when I was a kid and had a small coop . I live in New York I have a question when I flew birds in the yard Like you do did they always sit on roof . I had a problem they would site more then they flew . As I remember they might have been to hungry I’m not sure. I’m 59 and still learning about pigeons . Please let me know how you got them to fly rather then sit on roof . Good luck on your birds !!!!
You can start scaring them out to fly sometimes they need a push for the lazier ones a pole with a flag (bag) does the tricks

Im also new like you and still learning. I don’t think I’m credible enough to give tips or advance since I only started last year. I don’t want to give you wrong info you know. Noticed in earlier vids ya've been training. Sometimes best not to get to excited for the season ahead . We've all done it . Let me range a bit and find ther feet a bit .walk before ya run etc Better to be to late as to early when it comes to training , it will affect their body condition and moult through the racing season which will impact on their honing/ racing in turn . Anyways , good luck I'll be following u through ya season as I did last year...

@@gpsloft5868 I never pull em. But I fly dark system. Ur talking about the light system. Do u need to pull em ? Nit like u want a full moult on the wing for next season, u don't fly old birds.
Put a solar light in ya loft which is like increasing the length of the day , this will stop the need to pull flights. Or breed later. Ya pairing to early for late racing..
How do you decide winners? Flight time? But your pigeons flew for like 20 minutes

I just found a couple fledglings at the place I work and so I rescued them from being exterminated as they would. I learned that pigeons are glorious animals that God made and many people generally misunderstand them as disgusting animals.
The Lord Jesus blessed me to see how intelligent and beautiful they are before I handed them to someone who wants to take care of them.
My wife wants a puppy so we had to get rid of them but I think I want to get some and have a loft like you do some day.

I know what you mean bro..go to pigeon.org and then search the closest racing pigeon club near your location. Speak to the club secretary and let them know that you’re interested in racing pigeons. Most club members will just give you birds to start off with man. They’ll should be able to help you out. Good luck bro!
