Elphelt’s command grab change is HUGE. Right now you can’t even use that super safely but when you get it off it had perfect synergy w her pressure. You could “drop” a combo to bait the counter and force them to take full super damage, you could extend all of her mixups safely, etc. it’s gonna be WILD
Without patch notes, the Faust change is definitely more of a "Neat" in my opinion. All I can see for sure is its ability to fling items which faust kinda already had with 5D, at least for hammer/bomb. Not to mention items like trumpet/donut that you dont want to fling, and items like banana and afro that also serve a decent area denial by taking up space on the floor. So that aspect of the move comes out to be a little niche imo. Definitely not useless, not complaining, but nothing that really move the needle for him in any meaningful way.
I think millia got a backflip, might just be air back dash, they definitely buffed her normals somehow, probaly more damage or meter gain since she struggles with those
I havent played long enough to understand what all changed just by looking. However the one thing I noticed was with elphelt her super was able to be used mid combo. The old way was like any grab where the opponent couldn't be in hit stun, I think. IDK but if they made that super actually useable in combos now then thats cool. It looks like they made grabs just work better. At least command grabs but again I really dont know. I kinda wish this man explained what he is reacting to instead of "yeah that change is cool" and then moving to the next character.
Its not actually a far parry is a close parry in that range but not just that it was consider a buff. It doesnt deal damage but it allows you to get a meaty close slash to a 50/50. The parry before we need to rps with chracter with can dp or nago wake up 6p and its hard to take back out turn we only have a few frame advantage
@@dragonic22 umm no there is a miss conception normaly anji fs into 5h will normally get baiken far parry but in the vid the anji is closer. And at that range we should get the baiken grab parry. As for anji bring closer we dont know if its a new property of theter slowly pulling opponents closer or anji did a micro dash.
