This really has been such an emotional journey with the Cadillac and getting to a point where I could do this for my family. Thank you all who have supported and cheered us on over the years it really means the world to us....this is reassurance to never give up on yourself and follow through even if people doubt you because dreams do come true ! #freedomtodream

If a car is in good working condition and you own it outright, always be hesitant to get rid of it. No payments on a running rig is HUGE for guys like us!!!

I’m thinking $ 2,500.00 for the Caddy on a trade in. Anyone who would think you would drive with Finn just in a regular seat belt obviously doesn’t watch many of your videos. Uh, Sammy is sitting really close to the steering wheel.
In the event of an accident, the airbag will either break her arms, chest or chin - that's for sure.
I didn't realize how far back I sit in relationship to the steering wheel, until I saw how close Sammy was sitting...yikes!

I sit close. Otherwise I can't see the road. I am short.
My husband bought me a used Mercedes in October. I went from a 2002 pos ford exploder to a 2015 GL 450. It’s awesome. Excellent condition. Congrats you guys.

For your family. What an exciting time . My daughter was reared in Tahoe and it did over 10 grand in damage. The insurance company approved to spend the money to repair . Because of crazy price of replacement/ which is what she wanted . She wanted her car back (all air bags deployed) it a great vehicle. So you got a good one . You know years ago they 44:01 would say scrap it. But with the crazy prices on SUV’s even used it 0:29 made sense to repair . That On Star features great for road trips especially with children on board. Enjoy it .. that car is just what you need . I’m a 73 yr old great grandma and watched you guys for a long time. So proud of you both. You have transitioned to parents beautifully. It changes your focus on whats important and yet being true to yourselves. Love you guys

Congratulations! It is wonderful. The trade in offer was insulting. In 1992 I was wanting a jeep wagoneer. I looked at 1986 gmc pickup that they were selling for over $6,000. My pickup was a 1988 with only 50,000 miles. They offered me $900 for it. I was floored, I walked out and never went back. I didn’t buy the jeep. By the way I still have the pickup, now with antique plates

I believe that Tahoe has programmable seats for driver A and B so when you're switching drivers it is just a flick of a switch and the seat aiutomatically goes into that drivers preferred position. Comes in real handy on long drives if you're sharing the drive time. Nice ride no matter what!

Man, I hate a car payment worse than just about anything, but I understand your concern for your family's safety and wellbeing. I bought a 2003 Buick Park Ave. in 2021 with only 27,000 miles for $3800 bucks. Still driving it today with 67,000 miles on it. It's like new basically and best of all, its paid for! ✌

Please, please tell Sammie to practice driving a little further from the steering wheel. If they were to deploy, it would be very dangerous and she could be hurt very badly. I had to tell my daughter the same thing. It's a beautiful car.

I'm 74 years old and I found out a long time ago dealers don't pay anywhere near what your car is worth. Always sell it outright unless it's only a couple of years old. Even then you might get a better price for your car..

Sammie J, I’m sitting here with tears 😭 running down my face. I know how important this is to you! I’m glad you have OnStar for the Fl. trip at least and I hope it’s not too pricey for you to keep. If Sammie had a wreck they would immediately know and send help, even a flat they would be there to help. It’s just not safe these days for a Mom and child to be stuck on the side of the road. Plus the additional feature if it’s stolen they can shut it off so some joy riders can’t wreck it.
