As much as I honestly love Bulbo's part on this island, it really does sound so barren without the monsters it plays with. It's only really good when you also have Poppette and maybe Yuggler, and yet it's so satisfying when they do play together. It's really a weird case where I like it more than others like it, but I can't really call it underrated either because I completely get why other people don't like it.
I love blow't and flouress sounds. Gob also adds too much and i love too too's animation. Also spytrap adds a great percussion on the song and fiddlement sounds great.
Fluoress - so beautiful, she brings tears to my eyes. The serenity, the comfort, the lulling, and *especially* that slow oscillation back and forth. Truly one of the purest depictions of beauty in this game. Gob - truly a precious… whatever he is (i guess he’s a Gob). Brings the low register and supplements a lack of castle bass wondrously. Also gives enough of a role to prevent severe overlap with Blow’t. Bulbo - doesn’t do much, but what he does do, he does in a way to amplify the energy on a factorially exponential scale. He’s meant to be ambient, and you will miss him when he’s gone Pluckbill - abomination. You can’t even kill it with fire because it IS the light-fire double. Never deserved to exist. Had a chance to redeem itself, completely slacked off. If there was a tier below F tier, that’s where this goes Spytrap - the utilization of its specific percussion is profound. Not much else to say TooToo - adorable. So much personality, and does as ballerinas do: delicately add the cherry on top Fiddlement - beautiful as always, but underutilized. Love the way she flies Blow’t - oh, my beloved. I loved you before, but what a glow up! (No pun intended) He is what makes this island so special, so worth listening to on repeat, and the millions of food needed to get him here is so worth it
technically my ratings (tentative) 1. fiddlement, it sounds so heavenly, even when its face spins 2. blowt, adds to the song 3. gob, the sound makes me feel like I'm in heaven 4. flouress, the sounds are good, I also thought that random circle in a circle was its eye 5. spytrap, for some reason I quite like and don't like spytraps sound 6.bulbo, I don't like this sound, sounds like something I have heard before 7. pluckbil, i kinda like its sound, but hate it 8.tootoo, it plays a bit and for some reason I hate its jumping up and down legs
MSM you have done Bulbo dirty in this island he get’s decimated by every other sound there no one can hear him he doesn’t do anything At least give him a solo or something the least he does is just two scratched and that’s it
