Same! I always feel so disconnected because I'm in the US. Its nice to feel in step with the airing of the shows. Especially with listening to the Taskmaster podcast, I can actually watch and listen to the episodes right away vs trying to avoid spoilers until I can see it!
Reminds me of Season 13 (which I loved), where the wackiness of the cast (especially the banter among the cast & Judy’s genius BS) cracked him up. The outtakes from that season aren’t almost an hour long for no reason ;-)

well it sort of did. It said if the timer stops. If you didn't flip it back it would be constantly stopped and you'd have to shake your head the whole time, just like when Sue? tried to lay it sideways. What I was thinking though is just keep resetting them. Looked like really only the blue one would have needed a casual flip every now and then.

He had a really fun family competition show before this (name?), that I loved because it involved the children, but for some reason it didn’t last more than one or two series.
Sam Campbell is the most weirdly chaotic contestant to grace this show since James Acaster. If Alex ever retires from the role of assistant, he would be a great successor.
He had a cameo of sorts in James’s series too as he drew the “most surprisingly beautiful thing” portrait of James. I think it was episode 7’s prize task.
This might be my favorite TM episode ever. All of the responses for the prize task were sublime (I HOWLED AT "Food for the" "Artists :)"), Julian barely having the faintest clue who Josh was, Sam's drawing and explanation of the woman keeping her beautiful hair clandestine, Lucy's shite drawing, Susan's mischief task and saying she likes victim based mischief. Just everything. What an absolute treat this series has been and I am SO grateful to have the episodes in the states at such a quick turnaround :) :)
"Best Sign" is a great prize task option. Lots of possibilities, from funny to outright vulgar to wholesome but still slightly demented. Really good range of possibilities for this one. Nice to see the contestants go a few different routes.
32:10 tasks like this are when I miss the format of earlier seasons when we would be seeing live reactions of the participants while the task is going on. Hope you guys bring that back!

Julian's dry wit/sarcasm is a favorite of mine already -- lots of great examples here, especially in the first full task to pull the sword from the stone. Susan is such a warm personality and her make mischief task is classic. I love Lucy's earnestness, and her last part of the sword task made me cheer. Sue is smart and lateral and Sam will do anything off-the wall. I'm enjoying this cast very much. I hope episode 3 will be even better.
I am always amazed at the way they get such an amazing mix of personalities for each series. This group is one of the best and already one of my favorites.
That sword in the stone task was very “what’s in the briefcase” and “find the link.” Especially with the answers being behind the door, and on the top of the extension. At least the extension is not a panel of spraypainted cardboard.
This has got to be one of the greatest seasons. Not only is the line-up particularly wonderful but we're also getting to watch it basically as it comes out! This really is one of the best shows around. The team really seem to care about the audience.
The mice and fish thing is honestly one of my favorite Task attempts of All time! So brilliant....20 minutes long, and she didn't actually give him a Win-State for the task
Outside of the obvious reason I like the direct YT uploads is the lack of adbreak transitions which makes the overall feel of the episode more coherent and easier to watch. Thanks!
I used to be mad, cause taskmaster would take down all the random channels that would post their stuff. But someone at taskmaster has their head on right, because this UA-cam shenanigans has made them thousands of fans, revenue from UA-cam and launched the show into the stratosphere. Onwards and upwards, I am loving it.
Susan's mischief task was a stroke of absolute brilliance. Also I didn't realize it was only Alex's phone case in Sam's mischief and thought the look on his face was actual dismay until they established it wasn't actually his phone and that was just Alex staring blankly haha. AND the contrast between "peas and cauliflower" and "world cinema and negative gearing" is so so choice

It surprised me that none of them thought of just letting the sand stop in all of the timers. That would've only taken 50 seconds and then they would be free to do the drawing with no interruptions
The cheeky nail painting task Sam did superbly! Other contestants all go for private parts which is acceptable, but then everybody is doing it, it becomes too unoriginal and tasteless in a way. Sam’s idea of cheekiness is a person trying to hiding her beautiful hair is ridiculously funny and original! Go Sam!!

Sue Perkins is charming, witty, intelligent and very engaging and swings a mean sword. Funnily enough, she is exactly what I believe the average British person to be, just casually being British. Love her!
