WOW i saw you last week on Steph's Packed Lunch on channel 4 and just now your on channel 5 Gold panning on (Today at the Caravan Show ) what next ? Brilliant
Wow! What's the location?
Enjoyed watching! Which river was it?
the river is the Mennock historical for gold found 550 years ago that provided gold for Crown of Scotland and the famous "Bonnet " peices.the key rock to look for is Clogau shale there ate several occurances crossing the river and note the gold cuts in half every half mile from source.
13.52 WTF IS THAT ON THE HILL LOOKS LIKE A GIANT APE ??
Look behind big rock and on inside bends in the river
Do we need any licence for it just for fun ?
You need to buy a licence to pan from the office at the museum. It costs £50 for a year, used to be £15 about 5 to 6 years ago. Was told they were stopping people using sluices last year when I enquired.
costs are increasing due to vids on youtube the ban on sluices is due to the wardens that parol not being able to tell beyween a sliuce and a dredge.
ive seen lots of nuggets lower down at bridge (BUT ITS WELL DONE) nELSON GOT that lot
Watching this make me want try just don't no where to go don't mind travelling anyone got any tips where look
