Gotta love a guy that makes a buck relaxing by campfires, drinkin' beer & grillin' him some dogs. AND he gets the Mrs. to stay home! DAM'N, why didn't I think of that..?
New favorite channel I think. Gunna share this with a couple of friends who grew up here but moved away. I'm sure they'd love to see home again. Thx.
Thanks for hanging out!
@@CrazyQuady BTW, IIRC the rope beds are where the saying "sleep tight" comes from.
Loved this amazing history
Love when you take us on these History road trips. Always lot's to learn, lot's to see , with Fun and smiles all around. Looking forward to your next one 😍🚙✨👍
Theirs so much history in our country just waiting for us to explore, good content waiting for the next one 👍
Thanks for watching Mark!
@@CrazyQuady why does your wife never go with you on your outting for.????
Great video. Love the camping and cooking meals mix with the history stuff
Wow, another awesome adventure with Quady, loved it and glad you made the trip. Thanks!
travel is the most beautiful relaxation and thanks to you we see the most interesting lands!
I crack up everytime you sneeze with the ipas! Love it bro!
I love these history visits Mike. Great for brits like me to see these places. Thanks mate.
Love your channel. Not only a relaxing camping trip...great food...a bit spicy but that's me..lol!!!! Beautiful scenery but then you always throw in something interesting and educational. Thank you for all you do!!! I'm 68 and no longer travel....thank you for showing me things I would never be able to see. Your a great embassador for your state. Until I "met" you my only thought about Nebraska is I know where it's found on the map. Now. I would love to go there and see for myself.
Love the historical site themed parks, specially with reenactments.
I love history like that it kind of takes me back and I can feel the vibes from such places when I visit them …. It may seem a little crazy but I do get these feelings thank you fir sharing I found it very interesting
Loving the history.. not very familiar so it's great seeing all of this! Thanks for bringing us along!
Dude this is so cool! Coming from a Boston MA guy I’ve never been out west anywhere.
Don't know how I found your channel but have to let you know I really like it alot. I've watched and rewatched some of your video. Very good content. 😊
I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for a bit of history. So cool. Love the old wagons
I'm really enjoying your channel. Your content is always interesting, and your camera work and post production is really well done. I'm really looking forward to this winter for more of your cold weather camping. Keep it dude!
Another great trip and history lesson. Thank you Quady for the awesome videos!!
Another great video! I'm thinking those hoops on the creek are the metal rings of the wagon wheels. I'm assuming it's a representation of where the wagons crossed.
That has to be what those where!
I like the little bits of history in some of your videos.
Another great video - Thanks for taking us along and motivating, me at least, to get out and do some adventures. Keep up the good work.
11:40 that first bite of the chili cheese brat and the sound of the crunchy bun, I paused the video and went and got something to eat. It sounds so good lol I’m really liking the “History with CraQua” the last few videos.
A crunchy bun always makes it better!
Awesome video! I love history like this! Now I want to visit, but I'm in Northern Illinois. But definitely will if I travel anywhere near there!
Sampling and explaining new beers is a nice touch to your channel.
Fascinating! Loved the tour. Thank you!
Whats up bro! Great video love the new light setup looks very good on camera very clear & be safe bro & keep up the good work!
I love those old "Pot Belly" stoves! Hey thanks so much for sharing I really enjoy your videos!
The guns are so cool. My Grandfather was a farmer in Minnesota he was born 1899. My son has his rifle that he had on his farm. He has it mounted. My son did get to meet him when he was very young. So for him to have his rifle that is 100 years old from his Great grandfather is awesome. My son lives in Texas now and guns are a big thing. He has it mounted and on a shelf in his living room. I was very close to my grandfather so for my son to have that is so cool. 🙏❤️🇺🇸
Great video!! Watching all the older ones!!!
New hour-long Quady video? Umm yes please! You seriously have some of the best content I’ve seen in awhile! I will happily smash the like button and even sit through all the ads if it helps your channel 👍🏻
Thank you for posting this, it's been a long time since I've been to Rock Creek Station.
Such a cool place isn't it!?
@@CrazyQuady It really is, hopefully the next time I get back home I can go there again.
37:23 "Estate of P. D. Beckwith, Dowagiac, Mich."
Awesome adventure. Thanks for the tour..looks really cool 👍
🙌
Great video bro. Keep em coming..
I love your channel. Entertaining to see the cool landmarks you visit sometimes. Good stuff 👍🏼
🙌
This is a great video. I love that era of history--the pioneer days. I like that you go through every building and every part of every building that's what I do also when I visit something like that. Some people don't. How far would you estimate that you walked? It seem like it was super far!
I hate when other UA-camrs don't ever go inside if they did they pan around with the camera so fast you don't get to see anything, I'm like what's the point of making a video. So I'm agreeing with you...lol
Great video all the history is great to see thank you
I love watching your videos. Keep up the good work.
I found this so interesting because I’ve read books about Wild Bill and Jesse James and Billy the Kid and other outlaws. Thanks for taking us along!! 🤗🤗 I was excited lol
So neat to see how those cabins were constructed. The creek once had a crossing and was part of the McCanles Massacre . Interesting story. I bet there are ghosts there at night 😬😳
Thank you. I really enjoy history. Keep posting awesome content.
Good one Quady, just like old times hanging and exploring- Still in the middle of the heat down here in FL - 43 sounds good :) Was nice to just hear the sounds of the woods and the fire, looking forward to "winter" down here.
Hey man idk what you’re going through anything in life but if anything’s troubling you keep pushing forward, you inspire me to get a truck n start doing this I LOVE your videos you keep pushing me to do better n get my life back so jus know you’re awesome dude. Much love from mn!
the old rope beds were cover with a "tick" a cloth bag filled with straw, leaves, or whatever this is were sleep tight (make sure your rope was tight) and don't let the bed bugs bite ( the bed bug was the wrench used to tighten the rope, it would pinch your fingers if not careful)
This one was a really good video you made nice blast of the past
i just bought some at my hyvee in norfolk ne they are delish. keep up the vids .
Great video Sir, looking forward to the next one !!
That’s awesome that you found a round oak stove out there from my hometown. Love the videos man keep it up!
Looks good, I would have to have onions on that!!
That was fun. Being Nebraska born, I really enjoy your camping escapades in the wilds of Nebraska.
Bro, you and I would have a great time camping. Hotdogs, history, camping and good beer! What more could there be?
in sweden we have "Allemansrätten" where you can camp everywhere, it's unique then not other countrys have.
Man that stove was impressive. Awesome trip Quady.
Very cool video. Nice place to visit. Enjoyed as usual. Thanks for sharing.
you did a great guided tour----thanks
Thanks for sharing a part of American history to all of us. I really hope these sites do not get torn down as part of the elimination of what it really took to build this nation. Good job Quady!
Stay tuned? Ya kidding!?? 👍👍😎 Like the hoodie... I used to sleep in a ski mask back when I worked airport freight overnight... Made life so much easier when then temps were near zero and the management turned off the heat at 10...
I've lived in Oregon for a long time now it's cool that you went to this place . I lived in vale Oregon for a while I'm pretty sure that vale was where it stopped I could be Wrong tho
Thanks for this! Awesome as always!
Great place to go..the front of that old stove, Estate of P.D Beckwith, Dowagiac,Michigan
I love the old black n white photos!!
Just came across your channel great content keep up the great work from limerick Ireland
This so interesting I love history. Thank you so much for sharing 🙂
The hoops represent the metal straps from wagon wheels . They give you perspective of the difficulty wagons had getting across creeks.
Love your videos!!!!
Love watching your adventures
Great video! Enjoyed it so much!
I LOVE Voo Doo Ranger!!! I get it at the local 7-11 at Cherry Ave & 7th St in Long Beach, CA!!! That 9% ABV is the BOMB!
I don't know why but I always get a good laugh after you take that first sip of an ipa.
Very good adventure Thanks for sharing it was very interesting.
fantastic vid buddy. im from the UK but love american history.....cool vid..
so have you ever tried watching... Escanaba in da Moonlight... its a Jeff Daniels movie about an unlucky deer hunter in the UP of Michigan... it has a regional sense of humor... not for all but I think you may enjoy it if you have not seen it... and its a Fall Movie lol
Wow i enjoyed that video keep up the good work 👏
Reminds me of watching the show Deadwood! :D
Hey Mike if you want to learn more about Hickock and his time with the Pony Express you should check out the tv show The Young Riders. It was on in the early 90's. Josh Brolin played him. I love that show.
thanks for the story, love it. take care.
I was truck cap camping with poor internet connection could not wait to get home to see your adventure. I to had beer and bratwurst cooked over an open fire, Great views ! Great job again.
What up kid cuddy just clicked on. Got the leak fixed some new lights. It's definitely cooling down Winter ❄️🥶❄️ is around the corner.🌬️💨🌲✌️
Thanks for another great adventure.
Ey up, great video. Its 1am here in England. Cant sleep so watching your videos. My thing on my bucket is to van camp. 🤞I crazy for history so, thanks for showing us the area. Got teary when I saw the unmarked grave. I would be happy enough to live in those times. Now, SOME people take things for granted and worry about money for Christmas etc. How life has changed for the worst I think anyway. I don't know. 🤷♀️
Another great history lesson from Professor Q.
Absolutely love your videos
Would be awesome to hike the Oregon Trail… a lot of history… great video
If you ever make it down in my neck of the woods, Jesse James museum (Kearney, MO) is close to where I live. State park camping at Watkins Mill or Weston Bend. If you come here to the KC region, let me know ahead of time and I'll bring you some Kansas City BBQ and local beer. Would enjoy breaking bread and having a brew with you. Winter is nice at our state parks, very empty.
LOVED YOUR COMMENTARY
Sweet video, looks like a cool place to visit. WHERES THE MUSTARD FOR THE DOG!
More cool stuff! Thank you!
I love those chili cheese brats. Nice pick!
You should check out Stuhr Museum in Grand Island... Pretty dangerous cool.

CQ you ought to visit Deadwood sometime. It's not that far from you. Plenty of camping spots in the area.
Really enjoyed this video learned a lot!
Great Vid, thanks for sharing.!
Another awesome video. To answer the question a rod is 16.5 feet.
Keep on rocking dude thats so amazing true what you have done..okay..take care and all the best for you
Thanks! Will do!
That was pretty cool history!
Appreciate another great video Mike….
wow that was cool also thanks for the history lesson nice area
Hi Mike, fairly new subscriber here. Great informational videos. You’ve become one of my favorites to watch. My Grandmother, last name Horn, who came from your territory there. Maybe we’re distant relatives to the infamous Tom Horn. Anyway. I’d like to get out to do some historical videos, and camp. By the way, you do resemble Derek Trucks, the musician, and a bit like Clancy Brown. More Derek. Thank you for the enjoyable adventures you go on. ☮️
Great vid crazy Q
A Rod is a unit of measurement of 5.5 yds. So the guy ran approx. 440 yds. before he was killed by a shotgun. The stones were probably head stones of the mass grave. Back in the day the bodies were buried so they'd face the sunrise in the morning. I thought the relief of the pony express rider was cool.
