In New York, home to the largest population of Jews in the world outside of Israel, demonstrations demanding peace have intensified in recent months.
Al Jazeera’s Kristen Saloomey reports from New York.

Your stand for justice and peace has provided great insulation for thousands of us non-Jewish folks who were falsly condemned for antisemitism. Me too. Latest Canadian poll shows more Canadians than not believe Israel is committing jenisidde in Gazza (41%) versus not (32%). That’s pretty much a miracle considering how censored our mainstream media is with overwhelming bias in Israel’s favour. Imagine if the reporting was unbiased???

I think it's for more powerful to have Jews from everywhere speak out against Israel. The message doesn't get lost in antisemitic clouds. If Jewish people are speaking against Israel, then Israel must really be committing the war crimes they're accused of. When anyone else does it, you're labeled and written off. Thanks for traveling a harder road to speak up for what's right. It can't be easy. You could lose friends, family, careers, and who knows what, just for speaking the truth in the face of power.
