The shop assistant's accent is remarkable! No-one of my acquaintance sounds quite like that, though I can think of some wizards who might like to. Still, he gives an excellent performance ... for a muggle!
Thanks for showing the back of Olivanders, seems like every other video I watch cuts off before they get to the back. If I went there, I would probably end up spending something like $400 just in Olivanders.
You will have so much fun....it's just amazing when you get there and soak it all up. Have a great time! Oh and bring lots of money because there are so many things you will want to buy ;)
thanks for showing the actual store part this is the first video that I've seen that does that all the other ones I've watched just show the wand choosing part
Hey no problem bud. It's an experience and not everyone gets to see it first hand and just trying to show a little bit of what I can, but it is a sight to see in person.
BAM I KNEW I wasn't the only one who loved Mcgonagall's wand! haha I got that one, loved it and everyone was like "why did you get that one???" cuz its badass! haha
They have character wands and they also have wands that correspond with your horoscope. The shop workers ask what your birthday is and your wand gets "chosen". It's quite cool! :)
@Songsmirth The place is located in Orlando, Florida. Located in the USA at Universal Orlando theme park. The wand was like $35.00 and the robes I think were like 75+ maybe even 100+ dollars or so.
@hermione428 I just notice that are wands acording to the celtic calendar. Is not exaclty something like "month wand" because are periods between months like the zodiac (there are 3 wands on september: hazel for september 1, vine for september 2- 29 and ivy, for september 30)
No, the person selected to participate still has to pay for it should they want the wand they were given. My best friend was selected when we were there a few days ago, and she bought her wand. Hope this helps! :)
They are made of material called resign. It's like from plants to create adhesives and other stuff. A liquid materaial that hardens...kind of like a sap/amber resemblance. Wiki/google what that consists of for more info.
@Delc0 Well, for true Potter fans, that are actually excited about being there, like me, they want to get chosen. It just seems like it would be a great experience, and a wonderful memory for a Potterhead.
@strudllekitte339 there's a couple of counters/cash registers in the store after you get out of the showing. And you can skip the showing but what fun is that?
Well it works with anything you enjoy...you like going to movies...you buy a ticket...that supports the people who made it. You like a favorite sports team? Same difference. You like youtube? Same difference...you use the website.
@VenomShock I didnt see any of the birth month ones, I just saw the character wands and then in another section my mom told me about the special group wands which you have to buy as a group like the older weasley brothers
@loveuall14 i'm not sure...i wasn't lucky enough to be chosen and i didn't ask the person either.....i guess i don't recall where the person got escorted to afterwards.
@spy85able Have a great time, it is just amazing to be in the whole hogwarts scene and to just stop and stare at all the buildings, the giant castle, and just take it all in. Let me know what wand you get and how the trip goes .
hello im from spain and i have 14 years haha the only that i want to say is that I really like the video and i want to make one question are this wands make with wood or can it be ?? please I hope that you answer my question because I really love HP :) bye
@missadrilovesyhuu Orlando, Florida from the USA. It's located in a theme park called Universal Orlando. And the store is called Ollivander's. It's a real life Hogwarts!!! Such an amazing site. If you haven't been here it's a must!!!!! Put it on your bucket list. This would probably the place if I get cremated I would love to have my ashes scattered ;)
does the person chosen get a custom/unique wand or would it still be based around the characters? because i read that they only sell character wands at the other places and i think itd be awesome to have a unique wand
jjk1997 nope it's based off of woods shop.universalorlando.com/c/Harry-Potter-Interactive-Wands.html there are 16 or 15 different wands (not character wands the wands with wood names)
Seriously, I think it's sort of unfair how they choose people in Ollivander's. My friend was there, and she really wanted to get chosen, but didn't. She asked her mum to get in line again, but she refused to do it. My friend told me they chose a little kid who didn't really seem into it at all. What's also unfair is that they only choose ONE bloody person out of an eager crowd of like, say, fifty, probably. I mean, I would love to go here.
Just curious, at Ollivander's, do they have all sorts of wands, or is it just the wands of the characters? I really want to go and see if I can get my matching Pottermore wand from the shoppe. Can someone please answer me?
Question: how much is the Quibbler? I'm getting pretty much Ravenclaw stuff as well as Luna's wand, but I don't know how much the Quibbler is. Is it like $10 or something like that?
@jadaskylar Well it's all by luck/chance. I really cared less when I wasn't chosen. Yeah it's neat and all but I guess there's other things that I seem Id'e rather be chosen for than being in this demo.
6:50 "Kinda plan a little" How DARE you insult the wand of hogwart's greatest head master! Severus Snape is amazing and his wands slick black look with the encrypted handel is beautiful. Far better then Harrys magical tree branch looking wand or the Elder wand which looks like it was made from honeycombs. I will give you credit that the wands you did pick are rather nice though.
@jadaskylar what?!? I was hoping to go there and get a wand! They don't take children out of a line?! Nice.. people picking out the cute and little kids who probably are thinking "Who's harry potter?" than those older kid who READ the books instead of just seeing the movie..
The shop assistant's accent is remarkable! No-one of my acquaintance sounds quite like that, though I can think of some wizards who might like to. Still, he gives an excellent performance ... for a muggle!

I like this dude. He took his time and seem to have enjoyed explaining the wands to the customers. All the others seem to be in such a hurry.
You will have so much fun....it's just amazing when you get there and soak it all up. Have a great time! Oh and bring lots of money because there are so many things you will want to buy ;)

Hey no problem bud. It's an experience and not everyone gets to see it first hand and just trying to show a little bit of what I can, but it is a sight to see in person.
Wow! I can't wait to go there myself!! Thanks a lot!! :)
That's awesome! Makes me want to go back again. I'm sure I will some day.
Delc0 do wand work for Real?
I was impressed with this I loved how they had the person chosen practice 'spells' I bought Voldemort's wand when I went :)
BAM I KNEW I wasn't the only one who loved Mcgonagall's wand! haha I got that one, loved it and everyone was like "why did you get that one???" cuz its badass! haha
the boy be like "dam shut up old man , I just want a free wand"
They have character wands and they also have wands that correspond with your horoscope. The shop workers ask what your birthday is and your wand gets "chosen". It's quite cool! :)
that's awesome. Bet you were shocked that you were chosen. You're a wizard bluecandy
Well they have a bunch of wands but of course they're character wands. It's awesome and a must see.
Finnaly! Someone that shows the other room!
@Songsmirth The place is located in Orlando, Florida. Located in the USA at Universal Orlando theme park. The wand was like $35.00 and the robes I think were like 75+ maybe even 100+ dollars or so.
@hermione428

Oh tell me about it....I've been considering to get them all some day but not sure.
@boRalto for sure man....this place is a dream come true....I could stay there for a week and I wouldn't be sick of it.
@MBWrestler87 Ya makes the experience more enjoyable. I mean how many times...if you don't live in Florida, do you get to do this?
No, the person selected to participate still has to pay for it should they want the wand they were given. My best friend was selected when we were there a few days ago, and she bought her wand. Hope this helps! :)
@celinarivero alright cool. Thanks for watching and hope you have/had a great time!
They are made of material called resign. It's like from plants to create adhesives and other stuff. A liquid materaial that hardens...kind of like a sap/amber resemblance. Wiki/google what that consists of for more info.
they have character wands and a few birthday related wands named after types of wood.
@Delc0
Well, for true Potter fans, that are actually excited about being there, like me, they want to get chosen. It just seems like it would be a great experience, and a wonderful memory for a Potterhead.
@strudllekitte339 there's a couple of counters/cash registers in the store after you get out of the showing. And you can skip the showing but what fun is that?
I hope I get chosen
ya especially if you're on vacation. I mean how many times are you gonna visit this place?
O am going soon I can't wait to go to the wand shop I think I want genies wand it was cool or snapes wand
@hermione428 cool. you should get a link or video response so i could see that September wand.
that is the coolest job EVER
I'm going to visit the studio tour soon and I was wondering what wand is the best anybody got any preferences that they could suggest
@Kandarakothey do have wands that arent there from the series... there is like 12 that arent a character's wand
Well it works with anything you enjoy...you like going to movies...you buy a ticket...that supports the people who made it. You like a favorite sports team? Same difference. You like youtube? Same difference...you use the website.
Sirius Black's wand ftw!
scorpion24664 that’s back words it’s wtf
@VenomShock I didnt see any of the birth month ones, I just saw the character wands and then in another section my mom told me about the special group wands which you have to buy as a group like the older weasley brothers
@GertSamsonaflevering $29.95 and $1.95 tax so = $31.90 total at the Dervish and Banges Shop at Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida.
must...go...there...must...buy...all...wands and all. slytherin.. stuff :P
memorabilia or collector's item....i guess. I display mine as a small collection.
@pimstrating Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. It's a theme/amusement park. It's like Hogwarts all in one big village.
thats the noble collection
@loveuall14 i'm not sure...i wasn't lucky enough to be chosen and i didn't ask the person either.....i guess i don't recall where the person got escorted to afterwards.
@spy85able Have a great time, it is just amazing to be in the whole hogwarts scene and to just stop and stare at all the buildings, the giant castle, and just take it all in. Let me know what wand you get and how the trip goes .
@piggy689 I would assume their dominant hand. Most people are right handed.
@Kandarako @Kandarako ya all the wands are from the characters in the books and the same designs used in the movies.
hello im from spain and i have 14 years haha the only that i want to say is that I really like the video and i want to make one question are this wands make with wood or can it be ?? please I hope that you answer my question because I really love HP :) bye

if you have an imagination like me then hell yeah
Oh yeah! Fer sure, lol. Thanks again!! =D
@singerdude1234 Yeah I've been there already. I have now my wand according to my celtic sign
haha..you may be there all day or until the clerk recognizes you...
Around $35, it's pretty expensive, but it's worth it.
thanks very much
I want that to be me more than anything in the world!!!!
roughly around $30-something
what do you mean by 'real'? They are not made from wood but actually from a plant substance/plastic called Resin
And were there amy wands which weren't a persons in the movie!?!?!
The wands I saw and only wanted were the characters in the movie.
Just curious, at Ollivander's, do they have all sorts of wands, or is it just the wands of the characters? I really want to go and see if I can get my matching Pottermore wand from the shoppe. Can someone please answer me?
Can you buy the original Ollivander's wands at the shop, or are they just for the people who are chosen for the demonstration?
Question: how much is the Quibbler? I'm getting pretty much Ravenclaw stuff as well as Luna's wand, but I don't know how much the Quibbler is. Is it like $10 or something like that?
@loveuall14 there r wands from ALL the characters????? I want cedric´s!!! hahaha u know, cedric diggory,, do they have it????
man there are so many people in there u wonder how they could get out
you buy all the character wands..i don't think they have any that are just "plain" wands
I will go to harry potter theme park with my family.
Ollivander is funny: "Repare"
They don't have the whole ' every wand is different' thing, there are only a handful, so you might find you and your friend have the same wand
Are the wands here better than the Noble Collection wands?
@jadaskylar Well it's all by luck/chance. I really cared less when I wasn't chosen. Yeah it's neat and all but I guess there's other things that I seem Id'e rather be chosen for than being in this demo.
How much are the wands at that shop
How much does the cloaks cost??
6:50 "Kinda plan a little" How DARE you insult the wand of hogwart's greatest head master! Severus Snape is amazing and his wands slick black look with the encrypted handel is beautiful. @jadaskylar what?!? I was hoping to go there and get a wand! They don't take children out of a line?! Nice.. people picking out the cute and little kids who probably are thinking "Who's harry potter?" than those older kid who READ the books instead of just seeing the movie..
