Europe is grateful for US 🇺🇸support for Ukraine 🇺🇦 and for support from Japan, Canada, ANZAC and the rest of the free world 🌍 This is the point of having an alliance, that we help each other as after 9/11, when the US invoked NATO article 5 and we went to Afghanistan and Iraq with the US. US support for Ukraine is substantial, so huge thanks and gratitude. I don’t have the figures fresh in mind, and Biden has forwarded a lot lately, so I could be mistaken. On a whole I think US support (in comparison to size of population and GDP) is roughly on par with German and British support if we look at bilateral support (so without adding EU support and the fraction of this that Germany has provided). And if we don’t not include support for refugees. US support is above support from most south European countries but significantly smaller than the BN8 countries (Nordic and Baltic countries). Estonia 🇪🇪 and Denmark 🇩🇰 are leading with Poland 🇵🇱, Sweden 🇸🇪 Lithuania 🇱🇹, Latvia 🇱🇻 and Finland 🇫🇮 following, then comes Norway 🇳🇴. Denmark and Estonia have both provided north of 2.4 percent of their GDPs for Ukraine

Times Radio if it is true that Russia is slowly making gains in Ukraine. The people of Europe have a very good reason to be worried and concerned. Here is the reason why. When a country targets and kills innocent civilians with rockets missiles and artillery. Like Russia is still doing in Ukraine. And those 53 Ukrainian civilians killed while attending a memorial service. In the Kharkiv region and village of Hroza on October 5th 2023 comes to mind. Should Ukraine lose the war and Russia decides that it wants more territory than just Ukraine. Then other European countries should expect the same kind of treatment from Russia with their own civilian population. No doubt other European Nato countries are aware of this fact. And they will do everything they can to give aid and to support the people of Ukraine. Obviously for Europes own safety and future too not just Ukraine.

After this war in Ukraine is over I don't think the Russians are going to try anything again for awhile, and if they do the only nations that need to worry would be the Baltic States (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) and Poland, maybe Finland, but I don't think they would venture further after this debacle.

LOL. You don't win a war just by capturing territory. Look at the sanctions, the ruble, the human losses, the massive destruction of the military capabilities of Russia, the sunken ships, the planes they can't rebuild because of the sanctions, the russians who left the country, the end of gas supply to Europe, the new NATO members (thanks to Putin) among many, many other factors.
Russia won't win any war. Maybe Ukraine is going to lose, but Russia already lost, and its getting in a deeper hole every day.

@@stefaniekokal58 They regularly use the same contributors--they should at least meet the same standards that most other UA-cam/podcast interviewers do--you'd think it would be a matter of professional pride.

Very true, but back in 2018 putin seemed much more powerful and in control than he does now. Whatever one can otherwise say about Trump, he does have a nose for smelling weakness. Trump loves powerful men, but he also loves FEELING like a powerful man. He might be tougher on Li'l Pute this time around.

Currently, I don't see Trump being concerned so much about whether supporting Ukraine is as a good deal or bad deal. But rather, it appears to me, it is not being embarrassed, by his adopted flawed policies which he cannot bring himself to abandon. Much of what Trump does is based on face saving and appearing successful.
