Amazing skills and very demanding given the Chipmunk was built 44 years ago . I was three years old then and barely walking.
As this is a fixed wing machine , suppose most of the acrobatics are driven by the wing and tail flaps with the pilot bringing out all his skills, courage and precision !! Truly marvelous !!
I wonder if this could be tried on the Boeing 747 or the Airbus A380. This will give the commercial passengers such a thrill . This could also help bail SAA from the serious crisis they are in...more happy passengers ( LOL ) !!!

Nice try, but not possible because non of the commercial passenger liner is designed for aerobatic.
Only certain fixed wing aircraft are built and designed for aerobatic, and if so the pilot needs a special licence to do so.

May I add that Les Rhind has a unique skill with sterling track record of over 23000 hours..enough time to fly to the Moon and back....Well done !

    Gruss Markus

I learnt to fly the Chippy at RAF Manston in the 1980s while in the AirTraining Corps (ATC) and I still take one up from Manston on occasion - albeit virtually in X-Plane 11 😁

@Arthur Gemperle >>> And THAT...is ONE REASON why I think I would prefer an AUTOGYRO...😊
That said: If I could ACCLIMATE MYSELF to pulling gees like that, I MIGHT be willing to give it a go...👍👍
