Basically Michikatsu (Koku) is still the older brother. There childhood is mostly the same but the changes start when Yoriichi invented Sun Breathing. In this AU Yoriichi wasn’t actually capable of using Sun Breathing. So basically he had to create Moon Breathing. So the brother’s breathing style is swapped. (This was done so the protagonist [Ume / Daki] would still learn sun breathing.)

No he’s not losing to his canon human self. This version of him is capable of using sun breathing and is on Yoriichi’s level in terms of power. When I swapped roles I did a direct power swap as well. Hope that makes sense! Your totally correct if it was canon Michikatsu (human Kokushibo).

I loved the Kaigaku part. Personally i would choose Kaigaku as Upper Rank 6 instead of Daki or Gyuutaro.
