Part of it is that if you didn't wear the mask you are judged in court in Sharia law even if you are an American in America. So this is what is happening to a lot of people.
Our university, colleges and schools leadership should recognize freedom of expression, freedom from oppressive systems, and freedom to challenge authority are exactly what we teach our students are the basic tenets of our representative democracy. Use of excessive force in form of private security forces, campus police, state troops, etc., against students is not a good look for our state and country!
