Really great video. I enjoy trying to recreate retro photography styles and this video is really useful and informative. I love the old Hollywood style lighting in particular, but its tricky! Best wishes from Scotland 😊📸🏴
Beautiful shot and concept! In the past I did not know how important a Fill Light is especially when one is using contrast Light. Thank you Lindsay Adler and Team for all the great content you make and share in this wonderful channel of yours!
Love the shot as always. I'm wondering why you never zoom into the image? Especially, when talking about contouring? Hard to see from the full shot. Just curious. 😊

No specific reason, just didn't think about doing it!
A great prop for that shot would have been an old-time microphone on a stand.
omg yes!
Qe did have that as an option for the workshop. I do that a lot though so I just wanted to showcase her!
Great shot. Did you use a light meter to set up your lights ?
Only when I need consistency such as for a client shoot, headshot etc. When I'm experimenting I know by now what the lights should be at.
@@lindsayadlerphoto oh ok thank you 😊
Thank you for sharing, so inspiring! What lights model do you use for the rim lights, please ?
