    Tusen takk! I did find your channel and I'm love with it. You teach very well, in a easy way. I'm happy for you to create that channel and have been helping many people with the beautiful language that is the Norwegian. Greetings from Northern Brazil, thanks a lot Karin! I hope soon as possible I could talk Norwegian fluently.

    Svært nyttig for meg, jeg vil være ærlig til meg selv at jeg hadde glemt som av ordene eller hvordan skrives de. Disse ordene er rett og slett lett, men man må gjenta dem for å huske. Tusen hjertelig takk for en video. Jeg digger deg og videoene dine. (Y)

    I'm learning Norwegian for a personal project (I'm an illustrator/comic book aritst one of my characters is partly Norwegian and his childhood and early teens are set in Norway so I needed basics) and this is one of the best channels I've seen out there for self learning.
    I'm actually finding myself falling in love with the language !
    Thanks a lot for all the work that you do ! Very happy to have found your channel.

    Wow germanic languages ARE related. all the words you explained I can find in German as well.
    Of couse everyday speaking is hard, but the foundations are really clear.

    Never tried to learn it, I listened to some Wardruna songs before.
    Am I correct when I translate the initiation as
    ''Here's my room, in the room there is a sofa, two small tables and also an armchair?''

      @feather2256 5 років тому

      @subutaynoyan5372 5 років тому

      @@feather2256 That's enough for me. I officially declare that I'm an expert in Norwegian...lol.
      Seriously though, for an an English speaker with some German knowledge, it isn't that difficult, obviously.
      The pronounciations look more daunting than the grammar.
      I also speak Russian, and this language seems more easy to learn than that.

    Halla, Karin! What exactly means the word GANGEN in this context? Is a corridor or a entrance hall...? Takk

    • @NorwegianTeacher
      @NorwegianTeacher  7 років тому +2

      Good question, cause it can mean both. But in this context it is the entrance hall. Usually "gangen" meaning a corridor is just a room that is long and tight, with lots of doors! :D

    • @MrMKE100
      @MrMKE100 4 роки тому

      Kjø, skø, skjø isn't real words. But if you write skjø, it would sound the same as sjø. Sjø = Sea. I feel your pain though ;) There are many similar words with a different meaning.

      Actually this can be an issue here in Norway . Some ppl think it's kind and gentle to say nice words to women ( about beauty and the way they look ) , but i think it's not how it goes here in Norway . I think they are too shy and introverts ( such as me :) ) to use these words in their daily life , they have also a high level of equality between men and women and you shouldn't deal with a woman or treat her according to her look .
      I'm not 100% sure about this but this is my perspective . Correct me if i was wrong :D

    • @MrMKE100
      @MrMKE100 4 роки тому

      @@ahmdsq1894 You are correct. You can mention clothes or anything else. But you never say you are hot, beautiful and so on. That's flirting. And can be considered rude.
