Jack Sandi-Edwards It's so soft in parts, kind of like the Flea/Frusciante californication intros but now they have something extra thanks to Josh.... I truly appreciate the way these guys and this band evolves
Ashley Corbett the chord progressions especially from 1:01-1:20 sound like a legit song. Possibly the greatest 3 minutes and 20 seconds of a jam possible the way it builds and shows so many sides and ends at a perfect length.

I remember coming to this concert about a week before my 15th birthday and I swear this shit tops any party I've been too and everything. Greatest night of my fucking life. Grew up rocking out in the car with my parents near LA and Santa Barbara now all I know is rock n roll with Red Hot Chili Peppers being one of the mains bands we listened to. So this was a dream come true for me, just being able to go was fucken phenominal and straight up this is one of the best fucken bands to ever exist in the fucken history of this fucken world Fuck yeah.
Remembering Josh era. Forever in my heart, man.

Alain Demren and Josh only gets better with experience. The live streams they have done from Austin City Limits and the Pyramids of Giza had some of the greatest intro jams I have ever heard.

Been a fan since ‘00 I’d say. Best intro ever maybe Live Earth 2007. Mid-00s John is solid across the board. But this is one of the best of the Josh era. Also Live at the Pyramids 2019 and Firefly 2013 are other great Josh intros. And a whole lot of stuff from 2017 like this.

Josh is a machine. Very underrated cause he's standing in John's shadow
Thing is, since John’s return, not too many intro jams have been of this caliber. Torino and Philadelphia 2022 shows maybe, but not much else. This jam doesn’t sound too technically difficult but is very well constructed and structured unlike most so called improvisations.
That intro was magnificent
