Looking to run some simulations. Would it be possible to add weight to certain parts of the ship to see how it would affect the floating of the ship? And is it possible to make the ship weigh a certain amount? Cool addon btw
Could you send me a link or something where I can have a look? I have been very inti water shader lately so if it has some interesting stuff of course we can exchange :)
Hey, got the addon earlier and tried it out. It works pretty well so far, until it comes to rendering (both cycles or eevee). Tried blender 3.3.1 and blender 3.0 and basically, as soon as the second frame starts rendering it crashes, doesn't matter the complexity of the scene. It works fine in solid or material preview. If I don't hit "simulate" before rendering it renders the whole thing (without the boat moving obviously) without a hitch, but hitting simulate and playing it in the viewport, then rendering it crashes on frame 1 or 2 every time. Any idea what could be the issue?
Hello, thanks for letting me know. I'm going to check it, I'll let you know when is solved and when the add-on file is updated. Sorry for the inconvinience :(
@@Gravedrinker Thanks :) I updated a new version that hopefully solve the issue (basically it was needed to Bake into keyframes before rendering)> Also having the option to Bake is kind of nice in case of needing to export or something like that.
@@Artichoke18 Yes! That fixed it. Thank you so much for updating so quickly (and on the weekend). And yeah, the bake option is a great addition in general too.
This is awesome! Quick question.. How do I able my my object float evenly? It seems to lean the one way like sunken ship.
thanks!
I have this problem as well...
Can it be used with FlipFluids or CellFluids? Great addon:)
I saw this on your presentation in BCON very complex math and nodes goin on that i cant understand, its amazing!
Woah 😳
Hello, very cool addon. Please tell me how to make a water cube, like in the preview in Blender Market and so that the animation of the ship works.

Hey! That's a great idea but I didn't add the functionality of non unifórmale weight to the solver. And yeah, you can change the weight of the ship :)
can show us how it's work , becuse i run throw issues .
if I give you my water material which is physically based would you let me test it please

@@Artichoke18 Thanks! If you need any more info to find out what's up (Finding bugs is the worst, I know :/ ) let me know. Awesome addon though!
