"You can't run from the grim reaper" ...well, actually an Australian study found that the grim reaper moves at about 1.5 meter per second, so as long as you can move faster than that, you can outrun him. (The actual study found that elderly people that were healthy enough to move at 1.5 meters per second or faster had significantly lower chance of dying over the course of the study period, but the newspapers used the "study finds the grim reaper moves at 1.5 mps" headline. Pure clickbait naturally!). In other news, looking forward to hear how Yogscast beat the world record for balancing spoons! 😉

Lewis is correct that the lead poisoning was because of the water system they had on ship during Franklin's lost expedition. It was originally thought to be the tinned goods because the lead soldering was sloppily done on them as the contract was rushed to be completed on time. However, they learned in modern times by exhuming some of the bodies and doing an autopsy that it was incorrect as they had far too much lead in their bones that was nearly impossible to achieve from eating the tinned goods. It was later discovered to be from the fresh water distillery and the steam that was constantly pumped into the ship to warm the sailors.
Horses cannot throw up. If they eat too much food or otherwise suffer a colic, they are likely to die from it. That's why you don't want random strangers feeding animals too much / the wrong food.
It's never ok to feed someone else's animals without their explicit consent. You don't know what allergies/sensitivities/conditions they have or what diet they're on. And some common pet animals are a lot like babies in that giving them different foods can actually make them sick. Just a PSA for ANYONE who didn't understand how not ok that is. Or you could volunteer to come clean up the vomit and diarrhea your "treat" caused. :) ...Idk why this got me so angry lol
I remember watching you guys in like 2012, it's weird to see you guys with grey hair now. Not that you'll ever see this but I hope y'all are good and happy🤙
As far as I can tell there are no women spoon balancers. I Googled as hard as I could but couldn't get a single result. I would suggest that perhaps women have no interest in something so bloody stupid, but I did find plenty of pictures of women with 4 foot long finger nails so it's probably not that.
Someone feeding someone else's horse (or any pet!) is way too common and any pet owner knows how irritating this is. For one, pets can have allergies and you feeding them something the owner does not know of can be very problematic. Second, for horses, a lot of them are on a strict diet for competitions. Third, a lot of animals these days already have difficulty with their weight, you giving them random treats, which are probably filled with sugars (yes, carrots are full of sugar too) and add to the problem. Just don't do it people.
I think what Lewis is talking about (this information coming from an northwestern American so take this with a grain of salt lol) is called the Nanook, the Inuit believe it is a ‘bear god’ that decided if hunters were deserving enough for success when hunting bears and it punished those that the Inuit see as taboo (over hunting or not using everything they hunted).
In my head canon the exchange goes like this: 'I've been feeding him because he's sad' 'he isn't sad though, so stop it, or I'll call the police' 'oh yeah if he isn't sad then why the long face?' 'because he's a fekkin 'orse i'n'e?'
I've read spicy Victorian adult entertainment, I can assure you it's much ruder than that :) Think of a vulgar Australian team of endearment, banned from most media platforms.
Is Lewis making his own clothes by those cuff stitches, either that's the fashion now or I love him even more ! Or.. he was beaten by 3 sticks of rhubarb before going into the office ?
you know horse meat is actually pretty good. i don't know why it's illegal to hunt the feral horses that are destroying our natural prairie land and displacing native buffalo here in america.
Well, no they determined it wasn't the tinned goods and the effects from said tinned goods would be trivial. However they definitely had very high levels of lead in their bodies, enough to certainly suffer effects from lead poisoning but the cause of death was ultimately attributed to pneumonia.

"Like American, but nicer"

Can’t believe an entire news story was about a horse seeming sad, and nobody mentioned the fact that he had a long face!
Mate

I fucking love Simon's Australian voice, im Aussie and I give it my seal of approval. He hits them subtle aussie notes
What do you think of his Canadian accent though?
I think he doesn't apologize enough.
Their impressions are always funny, it's a pity that now they're self-censoring some due to "racism"
Damn I thought I was the only one giving him the Aussie seal of approval we’ll both sign it

Obviously, the number 64 is "nice" because it's the Nintendo number. Not coincidentally, it's a power of 2, which is also kinda nifty.
Minecraft
Nothing to do with Nintendo, just basic programming.

When Simon ask Lewis what object he was in tune, I said instantly, Jin.

horses are naturally long in the face
