thankyou for the reaction as always! quick note Mingi is rapping to himself in cyberpunk btw, he confirmed it on a fancall but i love ateez lyricism because it can be interpreted in SOOOO many different ways, quite literally as part of their lore and story, but also as always it's relatable because what we will we make of ourselves how will we stand among people in this world, i love that even though ateez is so heavily involved in lore in there songs, they are still so relatable, it baffles me, actual geniuses.
I love how you didn’t have time to process a single emotion because you were already moving on to the next one. It was all over your facial expressions! I’m pretty sure that was the reaction of all Atiny. I can also tell how much you appreciate them. This reaction was refreshing and I actually stayed til the end. I hit subscribe. :)
I liked how u brought up the dead moon comment. You see all ATINY know that HALA in their world means Hearts Awaken, Live Alive. However, in Hinduism, HALA means "Black Mass" or in this case "moons," or "eye in the sky." And it's been seen at their concerts floating above ATINY, watching them. Now Zia stands for "Light" in both Arabic and Latin. So you can interpret Halazia as "bringing light to the black mass." At the end when San is hit by the black mass. What you see after it hits him, is his soul standing there. The company has said they didn't want it to be too jarring for fans, so they left him standing, but it is his soul. And since this is a spin-off of the original story, they needed this to happen. The name of the album is "Spinoff:From the Witness." So the 4 at the end, those are the witnesses they need to go back to others and tell them there are ppl out there willing to sacrifice themselves to protect others as well as to show them that they no longer needed to listen to or feel like they were chained down by the government (white giants/black mass). The other thing is that a bird was flying over the four at the end. It's a Bluebird. The last song on their album is called "Outro:Bluebird." One last thing, another reaction channel by a Korean/American couple broke down the lyrics even more, and one thing that stuck with me was that during the raps, both Hongjoong and Mingi were ending their raps like they end prayers in Korean. Add to that the chant at the end, "No More, Keep Control, NO More, Keep Your Soul." And you can say it's like a prayer. Hope this helps out.
So with you on all the reactions :D The song itself already hits me, but the MV just delivers such a blow and gives me such shivers, in the best of ways like only Ateez can do. I've been told their albums all have a connecting canon storyline, but it's not linear as the story involves time travel, and now I really want to look into it O_O Thank you so much for another Ateez video, always enjoy your whole-hearted reactions ^_^
