I went to this event in 2001. Pulled from Canada with my Semi truck, dropped my trailer WAY out in a field & bobtailed into the pits. Jumped out of the truck & a guy instantly offered me a beer & asked where I was from. When I said British Columbia, the guy turned & yelled out to all his friends, "HEY, THIS GUY'S FROM CANADA"! Suddenly I had another half a dozen beers being pushed on me! They all treated me like a rock star that weekend, it was REALLY great!!🥰
