Just completed our first RV experience to Pinnacles NP near Salinas CA in the Travellers Autobarn Kuga Campervan. We enjoyed the van for its compact and efficient interior design though the engines seem to all have considerable miles on them.
Glad you liked it Christopher! I have a feeling that they buy the vans second hand before converting them. I saw a faded FedEx sticker on the side of one of them. Pinnacles is a great park. Hope you have a good time!

I'd recommend trying the Marchi Mobile eleMMent Palazzo Superior. It's spacious, got enough room to move around. Actually has a shower which is pretty nice. It's on budget too.

Thinking about renting one for a week or two and going to Oregon Nevada, etc. Only minus - no toilet. I can hang it out the side but I think my wife would think that was a bit awkward. Any suggestions? Will a port-a-potty fit near the back?
Thank you so much for the detailed tour! We rented one to go to Yosemite, Tahoe and wine country. We’re flying in, so have limited space and really trying to gauge the essentials to bring with us.
Anything you wish you would have travelled with? Anything you found you didn’t need? Any cooking spices or the such?
I would say it's better to head to the store once you get in so you don't bring a bunch of unnecessary stuff! But yeah we did bring some spices and really wished we had a fly swatter lol
Think there would be any way to fit a 9’6” surfboard inside?
Yeah, Im sure you could make it work. You could always stick into the section above the cab. Probably wouldn't be much room to move around in there with it though, unless you figured out a way to keep it suspended up on ceiling
I couldn’t find information about deposits, how much was your deposit if you had one?
We worked with the company so we didn't make a deposit
Hello! May i know the top compartment on the bed is it able to fit 2 big hard cover luggage?
I think you could make it work, Depends on how big they are though, and you would have to take out the pads
