How do you explain stuff in a musical??? Lesson #5

We've got a whole bunch of potentially dry, war-based context to deliver, and a lot of characters to introduce. How do we make sure it's not boring? How do we make sure it's not totally impenetrable? What rhymes with "freighters"? That's where you guys come in.

Version 2 is definitely better! Much more dynamic, somehow easier to take in all that information (can’t work out why, but it is!), and the multiple voices and interplay between them makes it, as you say, more of a scene than just a song conveying information. Noice work!!!

As someone who knows nothing about WW2 at all and so this is all new info -- version 2 is definitely much better. the difference in voices helps you pay attention and its a lot less monotone (and character interplay in musicals is just fun). great work, keep it up! I'm so excited for this :)
