Riot Games will not release Valorant mobile, why? Well, it is fairly simple- If Valorant is released in Mobile, it will not be profitable for Riot Games, as most of the Valorant Mobile Players would be Indian, which is not Riot Game's main target audience. Riot Earns Money by selling In-Game stuff like skins, so if u have a capable PC or Laptop that can run Valorant on it, that also means you certainly have the money and permission to buy in-game credits and skins. But if Valorant releases on Mobile, it will be a different story- So it won't be able to run on low-end phones, which the majority of India uses (basically any phone under 30k won't be able to run it if Riot decides to not cut any content from the PC version from Valorant Mobile), so that subtracts 60% of all users, which leaves around 350M people in India and let's say 100M in other countries, so let's make it 450M. Second, if u are a current PC Valorant player, why do you want to play it on mobile? It doesn't make sense unless u are a grinder who wants to grind Valorant 24/7 or u are just a person who has a lot of time, and since most of the Valorant players are In Middle School- College, they won't have much time. so subtract around 75M. So it's 375M now. Ok, so, Only 350M new players aren't worth making a game from scratch which will basically be a copy of your PC game with already has 1.2B players and is earning Millions-Billions every Month. So yes, in my view, it isn't worth it. Riot won't make a full-on game to appease Indians, it is not Free Fire or BGMI.
Valorant Mobile is absolutely set to launch globally, with Riot Games investing in mobile to reach players worldwide, not just in PC-dominant regions. They’re committed to bringing the Valorant experience to mobile audiences everywhere, ensuring it’s accessible, optimized, and a key expansion of the Valorant universe. Valorant Mobile is indeed on the way, and Riot Games is committed to optimizing it for a range of devices, including mid-to-low-end phones, to ensure a smooth experience across various markets, including India. Riot's investment in expanding to mobile shows they’re prepared to meet demand from a broader audience, maximizing accessibility while retaining the core Valorant experience.
