Here's how I eventually arrived at this video last night: I was watching the Bob Saget roast on UA-cam. I checked to see if Cloris leachman was still alive. Unfortunately she has passed recently - May her memory be eternal, what a talented actress she was. I went to look at Cloris leachman's Wikipedia and I saw that she had a granddaughter who is in the music industry. This led me to look up Annabelle on UA-cam and find the song. What a great song and a great take on rapture by Blondie
There's so many roots here from so many great styles. It's got a lot of 2006-7 elektro-funk that Miami Horror was pushing and some Black Bear vocal vibes, then the big influence, Madonna. A lot to unpack and enjoy here.
