The whole point of God becoming a man is the whole narrative from the beginning since Genisis. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the word was God. When God made us in "Their" image it was when he was made the first born of creation. He exists outside of time so regardless of what time he took on human form, He already existed. "I am the Alpha and Omega.", "Before Abraham, Yahweh". God made us and he saw that we were good. He gave us the greatest gift of freedom of choice. We took a bite from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. We we're already good and did not need to know evil. Yet we choose to doubt God who is Good and learned of Sin. The punishment for Sin is Death. Adam and Eve were cast from paradise where only Good can exist and faced with mortal lives. Instead of destroying us on the spot, God has given us a chance over and over to choose Good over Evil yet we always fall short. Prophet after prophet tried their best, but there is not a single person who lived who did not put their faith 100% in God and never doubted except for God himself Jesus. "Why do you call me Good? There is no one Good but God." The closests to come close were Mary, John, Enoch, and Elijah. Though everyone at some point though had moments of doubt. Like Adam and Eve doubted God who is Good. The only person who we can follow by example, Is the person who walked in our shoes and never doubted God or Sinned. We have to follow his example. There is no greater messenger than God himself.
